There is no doubt that the Castle is a beautiful building but it was a great disappointment as I had visions of another Fort Ahilya which we had visited earlier in our tour. Not a bit of it. They had overbooked and I was given a room within the owners quarters which had obviously been cleared to accommodate me. Since...

We stayed at this fabulous renovated castle in the small rural village of Bijaipur for three nights in January 2017 and it was an experience never to be forgotten (in the best of ways!) It wasn't just that the castle is a great place to stay and you are treated very well, but also the village itself and the people...

Although we were inundated with thunder and terrible rain, our stay remained enchanting and wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend that people go. The food was delicious, as long as you stick to the Indian food, and the staff were incredible! It couldn't have been a more beautiful location and our room was exquisite!

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Real Food Adventure trip with Intrepid Travel. We loved the hotel. Everything about is was excellent - the staff, the room, the food, the swimming pool, the location in a small friendly village. I would definitely be happy to return and spend another couple of nights here.

An absolutely beautiful castle/hotel with a swimming pool. The room (205) was large and beautiful, with a nice sitting area and a swing at the front.  There was a welcome ceremony for guests, and there were lots of activities, although somewhat expensive, offers by the hotel, including massage and henna painting. WiFi at the reception area only, hot water was...

This hotel is a magical place to get away from it all. We stayed for 10 nights as part of a group and were hence able to take part in a lot of the activities offered. Our room was in the old building and we felt like royalty stepping into it! Hot water was always plentiful and the rooms were...

Castle Bijaipur is a wonderful place to relax and experience rural India. Just go with the flow and everything will work out fine. You can cycle, ride horses, swim or sit around the pool drinking a G and T while reading a book. The staff are genuinely helpful and KP is an excellent guide for bird watching in the locality....
