Rolled in as part of an Intrepid tour of Rajasthan. Loved the look of the hotel - really gives a sense of being an island of calm, especially after the relative chaos of the streets of Bundi. Our room was comfortable, with a large bathroom that was great for doing some clothes washing in (though we believe the place will...

We absolutely fell in love with Ishwari Niwas and Bundi. The hotel was clean and comfortable, our room was spacious and the decor was lovely. Wifi was only available in the reception area but that was enjoyable as the gardens were very well kept and nice to look at. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant. The food in...

The rooms in this place are huge. My bed was very hard but strangely not uncomfortable. The gardens are lovely as is the reception area. The restaurant is upstairs with no view but in the evening there is a small pop up bar on the terrace.

With a bit more TLC this place could be quite magical - it is a bit hit and miss at the moment. My room was clean, the hot water was plentiful, the bed was rock hard and the decor rather odd. I agree with a previous reviewer; the food in the restaurant was tasty but the decor ( stuffed tiger,...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your valuable feedback, I am extremely sorry as noted by you that your bed was hard and uncomfortable. I am happy to read that the food was according to your taste but with regards to the stuffed trophies, I would only say that every one has a different taste and a different eye to look...

The buildings were beautiful but our room was very basic with no window.  We were woken up by a mosquito and a rat at night. It was noisy in the morning, as the room was close to a busy street. Food was nice and the hotel manager had a delightful enthusiasm for the city palace and the town.  WiFi in...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking your valuable time for reviewing us on your stay, I can see that your stay with us was not pleasant enough. I believe that this place used to be a royal hunting lodge. There are some hunting trophies in the dining room to attest to it. The food was tasty. The room was very quaint with a decorative table and chairs, and hot water was available. Unfortunately, the wifi only worked in the lobby area, and they turned out the lights...

Nice grounds with a touch of greenery and the odd bird, butterfly or squirrel flitting about. Rooms were decent. Service was good. I didn't love the restaurant decore but the food was good and that's what's important. I'd happily stay here again.

This place is a little oasis in a bustling town. It is a traditional building surrounding a lovely garden with seating areas to hang out in. The rooms are simple but well apportioned and doors open onto the garden. Easy walk into the centre of town and up to the Palace.
