Stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. What an amazing place. Sat at the top of a hill with amazing views. Great lunch after we arrived and cold beers available. Our room was amazing with old murals on the walls. Yes the plumbing is a bit so so but it's a very old fort so what do you expect.... More

It was the most beautiful hotel room (room 101) I've ever stayed - the ceiling is so beautifully painted that it brings you back to the ancient times. In fact, the whole fort is amazing. However, it should be noted that the facility is not necessarily fully functional. For example, there is no shower in the bathroom, although there is... More

Very beautiful old fort, was an awesome experience to be able to stay here. The roof top views were amazing. We stayed here while it was quiet humid, the air coolers do not handle that kind of weather. Make sure you take your bug guard!

Everyone loved this hotel and it's hard not to fall for the appeal of an ancient fort full of charm. We were there in the monsoon and the hotel simply doesn't survive the downpours well with leaks and power-cuts which meant the fan (there is no A/C) didn't work. Add to this rather uncomfortable beds and erratic electrics and its... More

The Fort had a lot character, when we arrived we were greeted by the staff who were very friendly. In the afternoon around 4.30pm we went in a jeep on a village tour which we would recommend, the children were very friendly. We were invited in by a lovely family who made us some tea. That evening we had our... More

Stayed here for a night as part of an Intrepid tour. Understand the Fort has been in the same family for centuries; it certainly feels like a family home, which is part of the charm. Incredibly relaxing place. We were given the run of the place. Lovely vantage points dotted around the Fort ,perfect for taking in the views. Had... More

This is an amazing hotel Wonderful views and a nearby village you can visit. The 500 year old temple and old well was a highlight. Don't miss cocktail hour on the roof! It is about one hour from Jaipur

We recently had the opportunity to stay at this amazing fort as part of our intrepid tour and I'm very glad we did. We were in a group of 12. We had the fort to ourselves with plenty of staff to attend to our needs. The views are incredible and the setting is extremely peaceful and tranquil. We all felt... More

“There are steps to some of the rooms but the staff are happy to carry your bags. Handy to have a torch in the evening if you want extra lighting. Not sure if it is an appropriate place for very young children due to steps and fall risks.”
