A convenient location for exploring Munnar and a wonderful family who assisted with our every need. Highly recommended. It's approximately 13 km outside of Munnar town. Recommend not to stay in the town itself. Rose Gardens has a viewpoint approximately 5 minutes walk from the house which is stunning if you catch it on a good day. There is also...

Very good choice if you want to be away from the city. The home stay is in the middle of the jungle. The room was very new, spacious ultra clean with comfortable beds. We had a small terasse facing the garden, where we could have spent all afternoon reading. The family is very friendly and home stay very small. They...

We stayed for 3 nights with Tomy and his family. From the moment we arrived Tomy was very welcoming and gave great advice as to what to see and do in Munnar. The homestay is located in a beautiful location outside of the Munnar town. It was great to sit down with other guests for breakfast as well as dinner...

We stayed for two nights in Munnar at the Rose Garden Homestay. The family offered a very warm and welcoming stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Standard of the bathroom and linen on the beds was better than I've experienced at any other homestay in Asia/India. Meals (breakfast included) were delicious and plentiful. It was lovely to share...

We stayed for 3 nights with Tomy and Rajee at their lovely home stay. The room was immaculate and comfortable. They offer a delicious dinner that is excellent value and you get to eat with the other guests and this is an excellent way to get travel tips (thanks to the norwegian guests for their tips on getting a houseboat!)....

Rose Gardens is the way to stay in Munnar. It's 5k's out of town, near the Khannakali dance theater which you will want to visit anyway. It has a beautiful spice garden below the spacious verandah and we awoke to a really good bird watching spectacle in the surrounding tress. Tony and Rajee are delightful hosts. She served us one...

We were treated like honored guest. Food was delicious. Every consideration was taken for our comfort. If I return to Kerala I would definitely return for an extended visit. I especially my love of people and culture was enhanced by staying at the Rose Garden in Kerala! :) Larry Cress-- San Jose, Ca. U.S.A.

Indeed the place is really lovely, the owners give you a very warm welcome and the garden is superb (+ the tour very instructive) The meals are also delicious. The only reserve here is that it's a bit pricey for a family (we had to take two rooms) and there were a couple of small hitches like a door that...
