We did not stay here, only stopped for lunch but it was very good and the hosts were very congenial. We ate lunch with two couples from England who were staying for the home stay, and they said they liked it quite a lot. Apparently there is very good birding nearby. The lunch was a full local meal prepared by...

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The house and gardens were immaculate, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the veranda and looking out over the rubber plantation, particularly at night when the sounds of the local wildlife could be heard. Daisy prepared an exceptional selection of authentic Christian Keralan cooking for us to try....

We were made very welcome by Jose and Daisy and we really enjoyed being part of Indian family life. It made such a difference seeing it first hand whilst chatting to the family round the dinner table. Food was abundant & excellent. Jose's plantation tour and Daisy's cookery lesson were both really enjoyable and we loved sitting on the verandah...

A lovely home in midst of a rubber tree planation. But the real treat are the warm and interesting hosts and the superb south India cuisine. Daisy also gives cooking classes on how to prepare some of these dishes at home; not to be missed. A very special memory of our time in Kerala. This is about one hour from...

We had three nights here as part of a tour of Kerala. Jose and Daisy are lovely and were very welcoming. Don't miss the cookery demo and plantation tour (you can walk round the plantation on your own but the explanations are great from Jose). The food is amazing. A tranquil haven!

Jose and Daisy were the perfect hosts. The food was amazing and Daisy's cooking lesson is a must. Jose's tour of the plantation was fascinating. Their hose is offered as your 'second home' and they really mean if there is anything you want simply ask. It was Beyond a treat to experience real Kerala family food and their genuine care...

Jose and Daisy are the perfect hosts. There do everything they can to make your stay in their home perfect. We were the only guests during our stay so meal times etc were when we wanted them. If there are more people staying it would have to be an agreement between all those staying. Jose does inform you at the...

When we checked in one of the first things the owner Jose said to us was - this is not 5* accommodation so don't expect 5*. Considering you are charging 5* prices frankly I do expect 5* accommodation. The rooms were spacious and clean but were crawling with beetles. They were everywhere it was gross! Jose was very dominating and...

The owners Jose & Daisy were so welcoming & the food was excellent. Despite the power cut due to a heavy storm Daisy still managed to give us a cookery lesson. The demo by Jose about rubber production was really interesting & we were allowed to wander anywhere round the rubber plantation - lovely butterflies & insects to be seen.

Jose and Daisy welcomed us warmly in to their home for a relaxing afternoon touring their property and a most delicious Keralan lunch. I can't speak highly enough about their hospitality, a real joy and one of the highlights of our holiday touring South India. Thank you Jose and Daisy!
