Stayed here for 1 night. An old British club in the past , now run as a club/hotel with still some club roles. No alcohol served but go and sit in the men only bar (not used) which is frozen in time since independence. Accommodation was ok but slightly run down. meals served in restaurant with uniformed staff. Spend time... More

Great location. Old British feel. Good rooms. Good facilities. Good food. A great palace to unwind with family. The hotel also offers washing and drying machines. This is a boon especially during in rainy seasons. Has a laid back feel and things happen slowly. No one is in a hurry in this place.

The High Range Club is over 100 years old and was started like most other great clubs in India by Britishers. Therefore it continues to have that old British elegance with excellent wooden furniture and sitting areas for a tourist to comfortably laze and relax. There is a beautiful golf course belonging to the club and while we didn’t find... More

We took a cottage. It was good. The dining facilities were terrible. The breakfast was average. The dinner would get cold and was just sloppy. The staff was not helpful at all . One day the had Chinese dinner with deep frie d cauliflower and vege in reddish sauce. When I asked for just a bowl of steamed cauliflower they... More

We stayed in the rooms of the main building. The rooms were large, clean but basic. The bathrooms need improvement. Service was excellent and very good. Food was prepared only after you have ordered the same. There was some limitation to what you could order. The location, the view of the Golf course was excellent. Staying here, the decor and... We ( I and my wife) stayed for 3 nights (2- 5 March 2016) in this club. We were allotted the double bed room overlooking the golf grounds. The view from our window was superb - something that we would have missed had we taken a cottage. The staff was really helpful and the food was excellent. The only problem... More

We had heard about the High Range and decided to visit , though we were staying elsewhere . We thought perhaps we would have afternoon tea. We turned up and were met by a uniformed guard, who did not seem at all keen to allow us to visit. He disappeared off to ask permission, and with great reluctance we were... More

This is a nice, quiet club to stay at if you want to stay in Munnar town. The rooms within the main building are quite run down but the separate cottages are relatively new and nice. Food is excellent, although one needs to adhere to the club timings. Make sure you have a collared shirt (for men) and closed shoes... More
