My first visit to Goa was made memorable by Mayfair. We went on a Company offsite and it was important that all of us enjoyed the short stay. Mayfair is a lovely property built in the old English style. The rooms are cosy and spacious and the food not too bad. The poolside and the pool itself is the hotel's...

Average hotel riding high on their Lonely Planet top entry. Dirty mattresses, musty smelling room and bathroom, and airconditioner old, dirty, industrial style and loud. Garden messy and not accessable. Staff unhelpful, with unfair opinions of others. Lonely Planet could not have been more off with this one. A terror that will give you asthma and a raw feeling about...

The cleaning lady has left a long time ago .I don't know why "Lonely Planet" rates this hotel so high, they must have been here "100 years" ago. Old and not worth the money. The beds and cushions look like they have never been replaced the last 40 years. That's how old this joint is. I wouldn't even say budget...

Nothing like the photos on the website. No hot water, TV was not working. Lift was always stuck. No housekeeping in sight. People at reception always in bad mood. Only care about money. Save your money and don't stay here. Rooms are not worth more than INR 300 a night.

The Owner and her daughter was most welcoming, and shared a great deal of good information. Very nice people! The room had seen better days, but the beds were ok. We had a small balcony to the street and it was very noisy at night. The shower had hot water running - barly! Good location, very close to the shopping...

Everything about this hotel is average. Rooms are basic and have neat clean basic facilities. We stayed in Deluxe Non AC Room. It can be chosen if someone is tight on budget and wants to stay in Panaji, Goa. Good thing is its near to 18th June Road which has got good market and restaurants besides Panaji main street and...

I decided to stay the Mayfair hotel after searching for a convenient and basic hotel at which to stay during my visit to Goa. The location was very convenient, the service was courteous, and I found everything to be quite adequate. The only concern was the taxi back to the airport that had been ordered through the hotel-the driver tried...

Choosed this place because of the recommendation in Lonely planet. Although expectations according to the book were not met, I still can characterize this hotel as good option for budget travellers. Rooms were quite clean, with hot water and nice balconies. Staff were friendly.

This hotel is the top choice of the Lonely Planet. I don't know why, because the walls where full of mold and wasn't cleaned properly since like forever. The lights where hanging from the wall on a few wires. But the smiles at the reception make everything alright. Very nice people in a hotel that needs a cleanup.

We spent 3 nights in a quiete room showing to the yard. In the first 2 nights a very kind and helpfull couple was managing the hotel and we were very pleased. Even the last night and the morning after, the owner-family was very, very kinid. Only thing which we didn t enjoy, was the breakfast. The service in the...
