Its a good place for short stays. Not a very big hotel, it has limited cellar car parking, about 7 so you have to be early to grab it else leave your car on road. The rooms are very neatly maintained, ambiance is very good. The hotel has attached restaurant that serves good food. Staff are friendly and courteous. The only not so good thing about this hotel is its location, narrow lanes and surrounded by buildings so ask for rooms on top floor. Otherwise all you could see from your windows are walls of other buildings.

The Cointinental Park has plenty going for it, and I find myself at a loss to know why several previous reviewers have felt so negatively about this hotel.
It is in a quiet location and quite close to the railway station, the reception staff are welocming and helpful, rooms are well planned and kept spotlessly clean, and there is a good restaurant attached. The a/c works well, and the bed is comfortable, though as a personal choice I would have preferred to use a blanket rather than the bed quilt provided (I found the latter to be too hot for India, unless you have the a/c running on a very cool cycle). One suggestion would be to put a blanket in the wardrobe, so that guests have a choice. There is adequate luggage space, a wardrobe, two very comfortable armchairs, as well as a desk chair, well located power points (a considerable 'plus' in an age of needing to recharger phones and camera batteries) and a fridge. The television picture is clear, though as an English speaker, I would have liked to have had access to a news channel such as Al Jazeera, BBC World or CNN.
The shower is very good, with an excellent flow of hot water, and there is a very good basin. However, the drainage hole must have been partially blocked in the room I occupied (sorry I have forgorren the number, but management can check back for the Australian guest on 27 January), because the water from the shower quickly spread across the rest of the bathroom floor. Despite pushing as much of this water back towardsd the drainage hole, it still took several hours to drain and dry. As an interim measure,I would suggest management provides a mop or cloth so that guests can remove some of this excess water, and in the long term it needs to have the drainage checked and repaired. On a positive note, it was good to find that a shower screen had been installed; this usually prevents situations like the one described from happening.
I had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and can recommend both.
So, minor faults aside, this is a very good choice for accommodation in Vijawada. I have the imprression that some of the other reviewers have concentrated on the faults, rather than provide a balanced assessment of this hotel.

Checked into hotel, i found the hotel to be below average. Asked the fromt office guy for a late checkout and he told it is not possible since we used a third party website to book our room. Find the pics below, and see for yourself whether ur checking in the next time.
No standards maintained, no coffee maker we have to ask them for towels, toilet kits and soaps.
I would not recommend this hotel for a price bracket of 2000 rupees.
Good for 1000...

The room that i was allotted was a "delux" room which was stinking and extremely cramped. So i opted for an upgraded one which was called "luxury". The sofa had cigarette burns in them in multiple places and lots of stains. The blanket and bedsheet also had tons of stains in them. At night, I happened to wake at 2 am when i saw that my pillow had tiny crawling insects on them. being a single woman traveler, I couldn't even ask for change of rooms that late in the night. AC stopped working somewhere in the night - so I barely got any sleep.
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Rooms are clean and has a good ambiance. But small rooms and overall lighting is less until you open the curtains. Rooms service is good. Reception staff are courteous. Not cheap nor costly. One let down is parking. Food I can't comment, but coffee is good.

I Visited Vijayawada in month of Marcjh 17. I booked via Oyo. Hotel is located closely to Vijayawada Railway station, 50 rs max.
Hotel Has good Big building, market & food joints are located close by. Reception staff is well trained.
Rooms are suprisingly very very small compare to price of 1800 INR. AC,TV,phone was working. Bathroom is small. Good food was provided.
Hotel is famous for its different type of biryani's. Taste chiken tikka biryani.
Complimentary breakfast was provided, but it has very limited , basic menu, no variety. need to improve.
Overall you can get better hotel in same price range better quality.
