Hello Travellers. My experience of Haailand resort has been a pleasant one. We have not visited the theme park though. We have availed restaurant and cottage facilities only. 5 stars on the sleeping comfort. 3.5 stars for the lunch and dinner served. (A lot of items could have been added for the price they charge. The buffet consisted of a lot of south Indian dishes). 4 stars for the ambience. 3 stars for the swimming pool at the resort. 4 stars for the customer handling.
We stayed for a span of 2 days as our friends marriage was held here. Resort authorities were helpful throughout the course of our stay.

First, let me share reviews about the resort: 1. Value for money 2. Well maintained 3. Rooms are great - we stayed in Royal Suite 4. Room Service, Food, Housekeeping - all were great 5. After dinner, you can enjoy night walk as resort is very well decorated for night as well. 6. Only not so good point - they don't have separate pool for KIDS :-)
Now about theme park: 1. Good - I would not say great 2. Compare to Wonderla (another theme park in south India), water slides are much better 3. Well maintained, clean 4. Mechanical rides were OK 5. One basic problem, which I guess everywhere in India, people are allow to go to pool wearing their normal clothes
Overall, we had fun and complete satisfaction.

I checked in to this hotel in room no:205 on Feb 11th 2015 for attending a meeting we had in their convention hall, As I didn't require my wallet for meeting, I left it deep buried inside my bag which I left inside the room and locked the room. On coming back I was shocked to find that my bag was left opened and the wallet was stolen. It had about Rs.6000 in cash and my driving license,ATM card and company ID, originals of everything.
While I approached the hotel management regarding this theft, their approach was surprisingly casual and they even implied that it is not their fault. They did an investigation for namesake when I told them that I am going to register a police complaint against them.
Overall I had a nightmare sort of any experience as I was stranded with out money, ATM card and any sort of ID card. I will never ever recommend this hotel to any one in my life.

1. Visited on 10 Jan 2014 with young children. Tickets of 450/- each promises 10 types of rides. Only 2 open, waited for couple of hours. That too in honking/boistrous music. Waste of money.
2. Security guards dont even allow kids milk bottles. Inside you will get only local and below quality brands for eat/drink. If one is choosy, wont even get a good branded water bottle. Restaurents are reeking with horrible smell and under staffed.
3. Swimming pools have very low hygeine standards. Hunderds of kids/people stuffed in one pool. Needless to say what all happening!
4.Infrastructure/buildings are attractive. But that has little say in overall customer experience.
If one has visited amusement parks in Indian metro cities, this place is much below standards. Worth a skip.

We had stayed at this resort on 14th January.We were 5 couples and 6 children in all. This was one of the worst outing we ever had and I wish to warn every person visiting to avoid this place.Here are a few reasons.
1) The swimming pool was in Horrible shape with tiles chipping out everywhere.All of us were badly cut and bruised.Local children were spitting in the pool.People were entering the pool without having a bath and fully clothed.In short the water quality was very bad.
2) The rooms were full of mosquito's and no repellent was provided inspite of repeated reminders.
3) All of us fell ill on reaching Hyderabad and were unwell for more than 2 weeks by some virus acquired in this hotel.
4) The hotel could not provide first aid kits,mosquito repellents inspite of charging 5 star rates.
5) Room service was non existent and the ice cubes provided was contaminated.
6) The bed sheets were like thorns due to over scrubbing and they did not have a smooth one to replace it with.We could not sleep the whole night.
7) No fogging is done.We could not sit outside to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
Overall I would rate this the worst experience and would completely avoid this hotel which inspite of charging 5 star rates could not provide basic services.

I just came back last week from Haailand. i had planned for 2 nights and 3 day trip but have to cut it short in 1 overnight stay and back in next day. If you are in Vijayawada or guntur or places near by 100 km from this then it make sense to go there but if you are travelling from HYD then its a Complete waste of money and time. You will get better options near by HYD rather travelling sooo far just to get out of city feeling.
The only thing exciting about this resort is the way its built. Its beautiful. The way the lighting done in night also make it more interesting. Different type of rooms have been built with different concept. Apart from that there is nothing much interesting. 1. The whole resort is best suited for Marriage or Family function and not for holiday stay.say for couples. 2. Rooms are not that clear and very oldies. Cleaning of the rooms are not done properly though staffs are very polite. 3. There is no other food option apart from the restaurant in the resort and variety of food was very very less and preparation also OK OK and no single item is extra ordinary. we have tried many in 3 time eating. morning BF is good with lot of option. 4. Theam pak is beautiful in night with lighting and absolutely no activity for elder people. you will always find school children there because of the items they have. for Adults there is absolutely nothing to do. 5. Water park sucks... 1st time ever i have seen Male rides, Female rides and Kids rides all different and in different zones and no one can go in other...lol.. where is the space for family ha ha..in too little space too much of people making the water stinking.. i thought of going in but when i saw it.. NO WAY... 6. Pool are not that great and when open and when close only god knows... 7. NO Indoor games available and nothing in fact. 8. Service is not that great.
if you have never seen a resort, definitely you must go for it...else you must go on your own risk.
Place is definitely out of city and calm, staffs are polite but there is nothing to do there as part of leisure activity. you just can't sleep at room for 2 days. If that is the case why not sleep at home rather pay 2.5 or 3.5K per day and sleep in resort.
What ever i mentioned its completely my experience in a 24 hour stay.

I stay in haailand during a business meet,its an excellent property located 18km away from the vijayawada city,my stay was excellent,i didnt get much time to enjoy the theme park but they invested a lot and its a must visit resort and theme park. you get free band to visit the theme park.

An excellent resort with "Buddha" theme- lot of fun- water bodies, slides , rides, games , lavish pools , lot of cultural shows good shopping arcade, its mini Thailand in India. Good for famillies esp with young and teenagers. Lot of fun, frolic and masti for the family. Good food and service.

Its a nice resort, but nothing exciting to do. They done have ant indoor sports or games to enjoy. Swiming pool timings r restricted and the location of pool is so that therez no privacy.
Rooms r ok... like of an normal hotel. Wont have feeling of staying in resort..
If travelling from Hyderabad, better to prefer any resort near to hyderabad, rather travelling such long distance.
No hoardings or route maps for going to resort.. spent nearly 1 hrs locating the resort location.
Food is ok, so the staff r nice n co-operative.
Amusement park is ok, resort has nothing much exciting activities to do...

"Rooms away from the Water Park and Adventure Park are good as due to lot of activity and visitors coming to these parks specially children generate lot of noise."
