We went here, but the hotel is closed down...has been since December. We tried in Feb.....apparently may reopen in a few months. I guess you could try later - looked OK from the outside. I just rated it badly because it is not open and we wasted time trying to book here without knowing that.

This hotel has the best view from the balcony of each room. Excellent location and nicely decorated. It was clean and basic but fit all our needs. Most hotels in El Salvador do not offer luxury amenities and you will have to walk a flight to stairs to get to your room. However, it was quaint and lovely. We got...

We spent two days at the hotel, the service was great, the people nice but room #1 needed one of the walls to be painted and the bathroom had a smell. The balcony had an incredible view of the park and the church. Nice place to stay.

Stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and located right on the square. Our balcony had a spectacular view of the church and it was great to have a cold drink at sunset and watch all the activity below. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful, always tolerating our extremely limited Spanish with...

We did not stay at this hotel but ate in the restaurant. The food is fantastic. I ordered the steak with jalapeno sauce (not spicy) which came with mash potatoes and vegetables. The meat was so tender you can cut it with a fork. Highly recommended. $$$

This hotel is hard to put into words. It carries the theme of doors all the way through, from the key fob to the old door used for a luggage rack in the room. All rooms are on the second floor, and the stairs are narrow and steep. Once there, there is a fantastic open-air lounge that the rooms open...

We made our reservation over the phone and paid half to make sure they hold the room, then we decided to cancel a week later. We called to cancel and the owner said he would credit us back less some tax or fee and we agreed. It has been a month and the hotel still has not refunded us. We...

I ended up in Suchitoto sort of by accident (I thought I was headed to Nicaragua until I went to check in for my flight the evening before, realized the flight had been moved to a different day, so got a ticket to El Salvador instead). I found this place when I arrived in Suchitoto and what a great find...

We had the warmest welcome here, and loved the hotel. As it was midweek the rates were lower and well worth it. Beautiful colonial rooms with large balconies for watching the sunset and great people watching on the square. The rooms were also very large with two huge beds and very stylish.

Charming little hotel facing the square in Suchitoto. Large rooms with canopy beds, private balcony with chairs, and public balcony with sofa, chairs and table facing the garden. Restaurant is absolutely the best in Suchitoto.... really gourmet Italian fusion. Staff are extremely helpful. Wonderful breakfast included. (Only changes I would make: add a swimming pool, better hanging facilities for clothing,...
