Charmillion Club Resort is commended for its clean, spacious accommodations and diverse dining options nestled within well-kept grounds, complete with pools and scenic beach areas. While the resort's location near the airport offers beautiful views and beach access, some guests consider it too isolated from urban excitement. Despite the praises for cleanliness and friendly staff, the resort's atmosphere and noise levels receive mixed reviews, and travelers advise vigilance regarding hidden costs that may affect the perceived value of their stay.

We stayed in the property in the period from 20/27 August, a wonderful location to say the least, everything taken care of down to the smallest detail. Friendly staff, clean rooms. The food is passable, perhaps lacking a bit of variety as it is repetitive. Well-kept beach, the resort directly on the sea is also suitable for families with small children as the water in front is very shallow, the reef is stupendous, the coral reef in front is spectacular... The area is windy so always a red flag in the morning, the organizers of the wonderful babobab excursions. Stay away from the oil and perfume shop, absurd prices, I fell all over myself only to discover that in other shops I would have paid 3 times less.

The resort appears to be new and in any case is very well looked after; there are also lots of different activities inside (hookah, watching football matches with the projector, tattoos, shopping, taking photos, etc.).
I consider the entertainment to be almost absent, but I attributed this to the period (February) and therefore I think it could be there... in the evening a half-hour "show", the "entertainers" do two dances in the swimming pool, play volleyball, a volleyball tournament darts and that was it. The ones who constantly pester you are the excursion/spa people. For goodness sake, it's their job, but don't remember that it's the fourth time you've come to us to ask us for something that we've either already done with you (e.g. excursions) or we're telling you that we're not interested... even less.
The rooms are well looked after and clean, don't expect unbridled luxury. Every time I returned to the room there was always a sealed 1 and a half liter bottle of water. I found the food good and pleasant with enough choice.
We also did the spa, let's say I expected more but the massage was very nice.
Anyone, and I mean anyone, has a fetish for the euro and tips (they even ask you if you have change because they are full of coins). I find this very annoying.
The hotel is quite far from the center (old Sharm, Farsha cafe etc.), but there is a taxi booking service (a distance of about 30 minutes by car costs €35). Always ask for Ehab! a golden boy who loves his job and is really very kind and nice.
We stayed at the resort for my birthday, and they were also very kind in letting us find a birthday cake in the room at my partner's request (free of charge).
The beach is comfortable, there is also a bar, the most difficult thing is to swim: at the beginning it's all rocks for at least 200 meters and you can't even go all the way to the end, the water reaches your calves at most. If you want to take a nice dip to see the coral reef, you have to go to the end of the pier and dive in (the waters are always very controlled, nothing to say about the very attentive lifeguards).
My experience was still pleasant and we had fun. I recommend doing a snorkeling/quad excursion at least once and MUST go to the Farsha café which is wonderful (with taxi - be wary of anyone who offers you "umma" rides).
In my opinion, to return in high season!
I'll post some photos 😁

Honest review:
- the rooms: they are very spacious and ours had a nice view of the swimming pool and the sea, the bathroom is a little dated and the finishings are a bit shabby but on the other hand there is a bidet, the air conditioning is really cold ( but it makes the noise of an airplane engine), the balconies are super nice, I think they should start offering a sheet instead of a light duvet because you have to choose between sleeping in the weather and getting bronchopneumonia or having a sauna, but I liked it, I fell in love with it
- the cleanliness: it's not properly cleaned, but it's not bad either, the only problem is that the guys who are supposed to change your beach towels in the evening are practically non-existent, you have to ambush them in the morning
- the beach: beautiful and never crowded, the sunbeds are very comfortable, a nice space between each umbrella, the showers and the bar are close by, the flaw is the attempt to sell excursions and spa service which is annoying on the first day, in any case pretend to have already booked them with the tour operator and they give up on you, whereas the ones at the spa are balls and chains and that's it, they will always try
- the sea: beautiful, on the shore you can swim (obviously with rock shoes) and already there you can see lots of fish (very few live corals), beyond the truly wonderful pier, I understand that for swimmers who are not very keen it's not the best (in the morning when they open it there are really high waves and there's always a lot of current) also because the 30 meter overhang could be impressive, but it's wonderful, it's worth it just for this reason
(Note for the resort: the lifeguards on the pier are also good, but if it says up and down they should enforce this but above all prevent the clumsy people who anchor themselves on the stairs because they want to look at the barrier from there from removing themselves since they create delirium, either you enter the water or you stay out)
- the structure: very nice and in Arabesque style, nothing is missing inside, market, ATM, clinic, souvenirs, etc. We never used the swimming pool because we weren't interested in it but it was always lively, the à la carte restaurants meh, you can even do without the buffet stuff, the staff speaks Italian but it's better in English, the area is always ventilated and it's great outside, I liked it a lot (for me the quality/price ratio is absurd complain)
- animation: if you are a fan of animation this place is not for you (I loved it precisely because of the absence of it), I felt like I saw very little of it (and I was happy about it)
- food: INTRODUCTION, we like spices but above all we eat practically everything.
The food is good, you can't say anything, the buffet is large and always replenished, the rice is never missing, the vegetables are plentiful and the meat is offered in many ways, thank you it's not grandma's cooking and after 7 days you will a soup would be nice, but for me it's worth it, we didn't miss anything in fact
Conclusion: it's a nice resort if you're not someone who likes practically nothing, we would happily go back, obviously improvements can be made but guys let's remember that we would pay for a resort with that sea, beautiful gardens and large rooms etc. in Italy triple…so :)

Charmillon Club Resort Review – December 2024

Our experience at the Charmillon Club Resort from 21 to 27 December was unfortunately disappointing, despite some positive qualities of the structure. We are three adults and had high expectations for this Christmas holiday, but different organizational and service aspects left much to be desired.

Pros: Just a few
• The resort is large and well maintained, with pleasant gardens and outdoor spaces. The location close to the airport is an advantage for those seeking convenience in transfers.
• The heated swimming pool is spacious and well maintained, which is particularly appreciated in winter.

Cons: Just a few minutes
1. Restaurant:
The buffet was one of the biggest disappointments. The food quality was mediocre and the dishes repetitive, with no significant variety during the stay. In addition, the service is practically non-existent: there was a lack of attentive and helpful staff, and we often had to make do. The Christmas dinner, which required an extra cost of 50€ per person, offered no difference from the daily buffet and, as a result, we decided to go to a restaurant in the center.
2. Room: Despite booking for three adults, on our arrival the room had only two beds. After several requests, we were added a baby bed with wheels, clearly inadequate. The next bed provided was also different from the others and did not guarantee the same comfort. To make matters worse, the room was dirty on arrival, an unacceptable detail for a resort of this level.
3. Service: The general service needs a serious overhaul. Every morning towels were collected from the room, but not replaced before 6pm, forcing us to keep complaining. The lack of organization has been felt in many aspects.
4. Swimming pool and bar: Although the pool was large and heated, the sun loungers available were insufficient for the number of guests, often making it difficult to find space. The service at the pool bar was also mediocre, with little attention to the customer and an unattractive offer.
5. Animation: The animation team seemed untrained and improvised. This resulted in a weak entertainment offer, which failed to engage or meet guests’ expectations.
6. SPA: Applause to the masseurs, who proved competent, but the atmosphere of the SPA was far from relaxing. Chaos and noise reigned in both the relaxation area and massage rooms, ruining the overall experience.

Conclusion:
The Charmillon Club Resort has the potential to offer a pleasant holiday thanks to its location and well-kept outdoor spaces, but unfortunately fails to guarantee a level of service that lives up to expectations. Organizational problems, quality of food and lack of attention to detail make the stay frustrating. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property, especially for those looking for comfort and good value for money.

The hotel does not even correspond to 4 stars! Regular three! Who gives 5 and why I don’t understand!!!!??? Dirt, zero animation, food became boring on the third day. You can eat in the general restaurant and at the pool (hot dog and fries)... there are no flatbreads or ice cream, which is included in the package, on the hotel premises. They sell fresh juices for $2, ice cream for $2, they even offer sliced watermelon for $2! That is, this is not included in the tour. They say that on Fridays there is a foam disco in Charmillion Garden, and that is also paid, it seems like 7 dollars. There is not a single decent cocktail in the bar, the glasses are plastic, there is not even music in the pool, by the sea. The rooms are old and poorly cleaned. They only bring water to the rooms, not any Fanta/Coca Cola/Sprite... everywhere they just pour it into plastic glasses. Bottled beer is also available for a fee. I’m here with my family at the moment, the hotel is so boring! There is nothing for people to do! No one is entertaining! After dinner you can go to bed, as the animation is zero! I would never recommend anyone to go here! This is not my first time in Sharm El Sheikh, this hotel is the worst in my life! I can continue to write many more dissatisfactions, I hope my review will help someone not to ruin their long-awaited vacation!

The Life resort with its structure that looks like sand castles has a wonderful view. The gardens are well-kept and the obviously rocky beach is always clean and the sunbeds are washed with water from the pump every morning.
Friendly and always available service.
The cuisine presents a huge variety of choices.
Some flaws:
Cleanliness of the room very poor, entertainment practically non-existent, in fact at 10pm everything becomes very boring you are forced to leave the resort towards the new and old Sharm locations etc..
The taxis made available are very expensive, in fact it is better to download an app and not rely on them, or in any case negotiate.
(Some tourists paid 40e if they wanted to return from old Sharm)!
Their service must always be accompanied by tips because otherwise they appear annoyed and presumptuous.
Furthermore, the French restaurant was terrible, we left the dishes on the table.
For excursions you can find good opportunities by going outside instead of accepting those offered by the tour.

Relaxed in this hotel for the second time, for the first time a year ago, and in my opinion, it's even better. The hotel grounds are very large, very beautiful and very clean. For a modest surcharge, a beautiful Russian-speaking young man at the reception found us two rooms in what I think is the most comfortable building, the 1st floor, overlooking the sea and checked us in at 12.30. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean. Cleaned every day, Ibrahim tried especially (flowers, figurine and marvelously removed curtains), there were no questions. I'm talking about the restaurant separately. The cuisine is even better, meat, fish, poultry, vegetables - everything is great, the choice is great, and the soups in lunch are just a song, about desserts at all I don't say, for all tastes in huge quantities. Thank you very much to Chef Ahmad in Cairo - he created a unique atmosphere of attention and care, and when my friend and I made a separate dinner, it was madly nice. Happy when a cake was found in the room for the baby's birthday, thank you. In general, the hotel staff left a good impression, except for the spa by the pool - nothing or anything... Quite a decent gym, well equipped. The sea is beautiful, but very shallow, not much swimming, but there is a pier, and there is an insanely beautiful reef, even better than a yacht trip. Thank you for your wonderful holiday!

Club guest from 11 to 31 July 24. 2 adults + 2 children under 11. I especially thank the lifeguard Atem very kind and all the animation staff present but not intrusive. The property is connected to two other Resorts the Sea Life and the Aquapark. You can move freely from one to another and take advantage of services such as buffets and swimming pools. If you do not stay at the aquapark, x access you must pay 10 euros per person per day (cute but once can be enough). The Resort in general is well maintained, manicured gardens, in addition to the aquapark has a newly built pool, clean but not very large, in this Resort there is no direct access to the sea. The SeeLife is very nice, even in this case only one newly built pool, clean and well maintained, here we find access to the sea that overlooks a small bay but there is no jetty. The CLUB is in my opinion the oldest of the 3, even here a single pool now dated that should be renovated and expanded, the manicured gardens, the spa is managed very well. A few more pools would make a difference and avoid confusion. Beach towels are collected at your Resort even if you want to go to others. At the Club there is a large beach with a long jetty and also a small clinic. The reef is intact and full of life. Extra buffet dinners can be booked from your phone or through reception staff. Every day from 10am to 12pm there is a free shuttle to and from Naamabay to be booked the day before at reception. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. In general it is a good structure.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Charmillion club resort, from the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, we were treated like royalty. The staff could not do enough for us. We stayed the last week in June to 9th of July. The only thing I can say negative was that it was to hot, 40s plus every day, so was a struggle trying to do things, but that is our fault for going wrong time of the year, will definitely be going back next year though march/April 2025. There was plenty of choice for food, always something to be had and cooked really well, the only problem we had was it was to hot and that really stopped us from having an appetite. Rooms were cleaned again on a daily basis, lovely towel art daily, bathrooms, are a little tired and could do with a regrout etc. But not the fault of the cleaning staff. I have one complaint and that is the Supermarket at the hotel overcharged us on a regular basis, until confronted him. The supermarket in next doors sister hotel was a quarter of the price he was charging us, it really left a sour taste with us, as being conned is not what you expect when you pay a lot of money for 2 weeks holiday. But we will be back. Thank Charmillion club resort for another memorable stay, see you again in the New Year x

Mah! You expect treatment appropriate to the price paid and to a category resort! So it was not!! Non-existent sandy beach so you are forced to stay on shore with water up to your knees walking on a seabed full of stones and sharp coral! On windy days (as happened to us!)if you don't move from there and go (at a high price since there is no public service minimum €40 per day) you can not enjoy the wonderful sea!!
We arrived at 14 in the afternoon and are at A18 they did not deliver towels, and then finally a shower .... but without water !!! ( then restored as the whole village at 18 was in the shower and therefore the flow of water insufficient to cover all needs) Anyway we leave the room and on our return we find that the bathroom was flooded!! It was leaking water from the hose of the bidet!! The toilet was also leaking water so the drain box was never filled for the whole stay... I let you imagine the discomfort at night in hearing a leaking drain!! The surprise was that when we went on a trip all day, (we arrived on Saturday and the trip on Monday) we repaired the bidet; in the evening SURPRISE! the previously programmed and fully functional safe had gone wrong!! I leave the reader the imagination... they had to call the assistance (€10 tip) that restored us the service. Cleaning the room = 0 dirty, the bed pulled up but not made again...... Reception rude and arrogant and distant pretending not to understand!! In Sharm everyone speaks Italian from the lifeguard to the gardener to the waiter.....At Reception ...no!!!
Decent food without any exaltation but the large and spacious restaurant ...was literally a manger for the crowd. Anytime, anytime!! And great difficulty in finding a free table .A praise goes to reference Eden travel Branches available attentive to solve any problem, and very good at organizing trips all level and with highly specialized and prepared staff (guides); a praise to the waiters friendly and available to help you in the great confusion of the restaurant but not enough to make you bearable the discomfort of 'mealtime! .My score is 2 stars if only for not being able to enjoy in totality the wonderful sea! Personally I will not return to this property

Is their only one restaurant in this hotel? Thank you!
Answer from charmgrm
Dear valued guest, At Charmillion Club Resort we have the main buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and on the beach there is a second buffet restaurant (lunch only). We also have 5 buffet restaurants in our territory (two are located at Charmillion Club Resort, one on the beach and two at Charmillion Sea Life)
