The holiday was a bit of a bargin so I wasn’t expecting lavish & the reviews were a mixed bag, therefore I wasn’t preparing for excellence & was going with an open mind & more to enjoy some winter sun & some half term family time. We booked a family suite, the rooms require updating, lots of mouldy grouting in the shower & a feel of had its time & worn out. The housekeeper came daily & we enjoyed guessing the towel art that would be left on the bed for us.
The restaurant was very busy at peak times (it was half term week) , que for chips & pizza. Being a veggie I did struggle, however I am used to it & am happy to settle for a week of rice & salads & the pasta section was lovely, the chef made me up fresh sauce & I enjoyed it.
The grounds are immaculate & kept spotless. There are some building works going on at the back, our apartment block backed onto it and at 7am the machinery started. We are a family and early starts are no problem, however on breezy days the dust blows across as we sat by the pool and covers everything, we had it all in our hair and it’s not ideal for anyone to breathe in, we could see people were moving down to avoid the dust & this was not mentioned during our booking process.
The entertainment is the usual activities during the day, darts, Zumba & on our last day we had a super foam party, great fun.
My daughter and husband went on the water slides & enjoyed the thrills.
We took the free shuttle bus to the other charmillion hotel that’s on the beach, a tip is to not get the return bus to arrive back for lunch, the bus was very busy and although we were first there, everyone just hustled & bustled to get on, not fair!
I had an open mind before i went & I was met with what I expected. Positives are, the service is impeccable, all staff go above and beyond to please guests, from the restaurant, bars, entertainment & reception.
Negatives are, bedrooms require updating, they look miserable but the beds were very comfy. The food is repetitive (but isn’t it always in all Inc ‘s). The question for chips etc is quite a pain as by the time you get them you’re other food is cooling off, it was carnage at peak time, the staff did a great job of clearing tables quickly & getting drinks. It’s very noisy!
We enjoyed the winter sun & the foam party was our highlight, the service from staff is super. The holiday was a bargain, good sunshine & I can’t complain about value for the money I paid.
Just one point to mention, I took my daughter to one of the shops by the enterance, one of the men in there stood by me & my daughter, just looking at us, finally he asked if we could get married as he wanted an English visa. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or on edge as he didn’t appear nasty, however my daughter didn’t like him standing there, I assume he was waiting to see if we were English & just standing there looking at us.was very odd , Sadly, it was the only time things were spoilt however, everything else was enjoyable.
The hotel is definitely not a 5star for rooms & food… the service is.

I'd never been to Sharm before so I booked an all-inclusive break to Charmillion Aqua Park with my fingers crossed after reading lots of positive reviews. Travelling with twin toddlers, it was important the place was clean, friendly and the food was varied and good. Hand on heart, I was SO impressed (and as a former travel editor by trade, that's not always a given). The resort is spotless and there were people tending to the gardens and repairs ongoingly. The pools are clean. The rooms are decent sized, clean and very comfortable. There's fridges and safes that actually work. I was super impressed by how friendly and helpful everyone was, especially the restaurant, animation and poolside lifeguards. My kids are little and scarily overconfident, but I honestly felt there were people looking out for them at all times. On the kiddie water park (we didn't use the big grown up one as I'm too much of a scaredy cat and it was too difficult with the kids) there was never less than three or four lifeguards across the kids park pool at any one time. The food was really good and as far as is realistically possible when serving on this sort of scale, they made a real effort to vary it as much as possible and the daily grill, plus access to the a la carte Indian (delicious) and Italian was a big plus. Again, they made a decent attempt to be authentic in terms of dishes and flavours, even for a picky Brummie used to Baltis on tap. My one worry was the lack of direct access to the sea. Its actually easy to get to on the free hotel shuttle. If all you want is beautiful soft sand, then the Charmillion beach might disappoint. There is a beach, but it's quite rocky to walk out. That said, we sat in the warm waters for a few hours and we're amazed by the many different brightly coloured fish who came up to say hello. Naama Bay is close (£12 return in a cab) has a sandy beach. We went for one day, had lunch in one of the seafront restaurants and had a dip. It was fun, but the resort waterpark was better. There was minimal hassle really about trips. We went on a glass bottomed boat to see the coral which was well worth the £65 for a family of four. The only drama was the flight time. Keeping two small kids happy for five hours is tough. Thankfully our return was a night flight and they slept all the way... That's my plan next time! I've travelled all over often independently, but I love family all inclusives as it's so easy with the kids. This trip was amazing value and the resort really didn't disappoint. I've done Turkey and Tunisia a few times recently, but for the money, Sharm wins hands down. My only worry is will we be able to afford to go back now we are stuck to kids school holidays... I hope so!

Brilliant resort with amazing staff. The pools were cleaned daily and were heated. The lifeguard were at hand as soon as the pools opened till closing time and there were a few lifeguard jotted around the pool not just one or two. There was a huge selection of food daily and every evening had a different theme to enjoy.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the housekeeping that was specific to your building was on hand if anything else was needed just such as extra pillows or towels etc.

We arrived on a late flight, drinks on arrival and buffet food had been put out for us despite it being closed for the guest already on site. We had 3 rooms booked but they were more than willing to change 2 doubles into a family room which was fab. Little mini fridge in the room which didn't stay very cold but was good enough. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels if needed. Pools were brilliant every morning they were washing the tiles down and wiping sunbeds clean. Lifeguards were so friendly especially Ahmed who was always at the top of the big slides and ibraham filling balloons with water at the kids pool. Pools don't open until 10 and close by half 5 and 6 for the other pool. Could easily stay at the pools longer but gave time to shower and change ready for dinner. The main restaurant always had an abundance of food, lacked on the British selection but you won't go hungry. Bar staff were brilliant and remember our requirements each night. Bus to the beach resort was easy but the bus does get very full. Snorkeling was fantastic. Overall we loved it and would definitely return just to see the friendly staff that work so hard. The sales for excursions and treatments were quite full on and would come up to you daily so need to be assertive with what you do and don't want and haggle on prices. Soho was fab in the evening. Old market was not so good but we went in the day.

I recently stayed at Charm, a 5-star rated property, and while the experience was mostly delightful, a few aspects left room for improvement.
Great exterior Design: The hotel’s architecture and some interior design are nice [rooms can do with an upgrade), which should combine modern elegance with timeless luxury.

We just came back after an 11 days stay on Charmillion Club Aqua Park, and thanks God, what a holliday. We travelled as a family of 4, with 2 young children, 3yo and 5 months old. Everything was perfect, we loved our stay, accommodation, food, facilities, but if we have to mention something in particular, is the staff at this resort. The most welcoming PEOPLE, helpful, attentive, and always with a smile on their face. Special mentions for Alaa Sabry in the restaurant, the best guy in there, our daughter loved him, and Ahmed, doing our room in block 5. The rooms are big and spacious, with all the facilities, cleaned everyday, the only mention I would have would be about hot water, which is running out sometimes at busy hours, usually in the evening. Pools are very well maintained, separate facilities for adults and kids, as well the 2 aqua parks, one for the younger children, our daughter absolutely loved it. The only mention here would be the closing time for the pools, at 16:30, which is a bit early, in my opinion. About the food, we can say that you'll always find suitable options for all the tastes, even for the most picky eaters, lots of options, very varied menu, BBQ every night, lots of meat and sides options. The kids have their own corner, suited for their taste. The quality of the food felt always very high, and the desserts, an absolute dream. I want to mention and the two a la carte restaurants, the indian and the italian ones, which also they have been excellent, remember to book in advance. The entertainment team is doing a great job, lots of activities during the day, with different shows and live music, mini disco for the kids every night, the kids clubs during the day also excellent. The facilities are excelent, they are many shops on site, food, clothes, pharmacy, barber shop, gym and spa, massage, souvenirs and perfumes, and many more outlets. Although the resort is not situated with direct beach access, there's a free shutle bus every hour, forth and back, taking you to one of the sister hotels for beach access which we used it for about 5 times during our stay. Every time we haved found sun lounges on the front row on the private beach and also you can use for free the beach bar there for drinks and snacks, which is a great facility. There's also another free shutle bus to the centre of Nabq bay, which we haven't used. Our stay wasn't without problems, but every issue was solved rapidly, with ease and with a smile from the staff. We will definitely return, we don't even want take in acount any other resort in Sharm el Sheikh. As a family which travells very often, Charmillion Club Aqua park was a great find for us, and we are highly recommend it if you want a fabulous holiday. Overall, a solid 5 stars from us and thank you once again for making our stay fabulous.

We were apprehensive after reading some of the previous reviews but found Charmillion to have the nicest, friendliest staff from the cleaners, bar staff, lifeguards, gardeners and even the chefs. We had a family room just above the dining room and even though we were asleep when breakfast first opened we were not disturbed at all due to the soundproofing. Food was fine but a larger choice of fresh fruits would be great. More than enough choice for even the fussiest of eaters and omelette or fried eggs cooked fresh to order for breakfast.
We didn't see all of the evening entertainment but heard it was good. You will need to jump in a cab to go to Old market or Naama bay but we made and evening of both as there are plenty of places to eat if required. The Mosque near Old Market is worth seeing as it is stunning ( especially at night) pools and waterslides are great fun and everywhere in the grounds is spotless. We couldn't of been happier with the service at Charmillion, but we found the staff at the sister hotel very grumpy. There is a shuttle bus between the two which takes you to the beach and you are allowed to use the snack bar but there is no wi-fi access and you cannot use the pools ☹️ Overall, we loved our holiday, our hosts and Sharm El Shiekh and would recommend all three.
