Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very good place, very neat. The food are awesome, people are extremely hospitable and friendly.
It offers activities inside and outside the camp, as desert safari and dinner.
You just request what ever you want and they will do.
Worth visiting.

The design and location of this hotel are the reasons why i chose this hotel. The hotel is embedded in the surrounding mountains, and the architecture blends in with the surroundings.
i was really impressed by the reception, the dome was made of rock and no concrete was used in the construction, very impressive. We booked el Qasr Suit which was at the highest point in the hotel overlooking the lake, we only had breakfast at the hotel which was simple but tasted good, for lunch and dinner we organised a BBQ in the nearby desert. would highly recommend this hotel.

was originally booked at another hotel, went for a walk over the English mountain, and to my surprise i found an old Bedouin village in the middle of the mountains and palm groves, i went down to explore the village, surprise its a eco lodge, the lodge blends perfectly with the environment much nicer than the hotel i am staying at which is blue. I went to inquire about the rates, i was offered Bedouin tea for free and a tour to the grounds, excellent rooms, what really impressed me is that each room has a character, there is even one room with a private hot spring.
Anyhow i ended up extending my visit to Bahareya oasis for another 2 nights, wish i could stay longer but had to travel back to Cairo for my international flight.

New year at Qasr el Bawity what an experience, volley ball barefoot in the sand and bathing under the starts at the ensuit hot spring. As it was iur 3rd time at hotel, Awad the manager upgraded us to el dawar suit with private hot spring ad fire place, really amazing. Tourism was down so we had the desert and most of the hotel to our selfs, service and Cleanesss were great as usual, thank you Bawity staff

the hotel is a comfortable place that shows the original Bedouin life and leave you the chance to live it. It's a great place for meditation away from the capital noise, with the natural beauty surrounding you as it's placed under a mountain. plus, the hotel provides very good programs as BBQ in the desert, and visits to the spots there.

Qasr el Bawity Resort was really a great surprise.
The hotel is built according to eco-friendly building techniques and with local materials.
Rooms are very nice and spacious, built with local stones that means that they stay fresh even in the hottest days.
The lodge has also a swimming pool and an incredible private natural hot spring (veeery hot!).
Garden is colorful and is the perfet location where you can have a mint tea under the moon.
Restaurant serves local food. Quality is very good.
The only minus: the resort is still under construction and locals work at night because of the hot temperature during the day causing very noisy night!

the entire western desert is a must visit, the vast desert span is really impressive, we booked a group tour with oasis expeditions and our overnight stay in bahareya oasis was at Qasr El Bawity. the hotel design suits the surrounding environment, the rooms are comfortable and the palm trees are pleasent to lay under. we played volley ball on the sand which was a very nice experience. we tryed Fatir at breakfast mixed with palm honey. dinner was BBQ lamb very tasty.
the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and tryed their best to help us as much as they could.
i wish we could have stayed longer at this paradise oasis.

went to Bahareya oasis last month, we a organized group, our hotel of choice was Qasr El Bawity. we chose the hotel based on the reviews and pictures on trip advisor, we were happy to find it exactly as we expected, warm and welcoming. we were met by Mahmoud and Said who are locals of bahareya oasis, they showed us different room styles and we choose from them. the rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, no tv, Ac or telephone, which was really great as we came to relax and stay away from the stress of Cairo.
Mahmoud prepared for us a BBQ dinner in the mountains which was really appreciated.
Overall our stay was outstanding and thanks mainly to the crew, Mahmoud, Said and Mostafa.
We were the only guests in the hotel, when we asked why, mahmoud told us that the unfortunate events in Egypt left bahareya oasis as a ghost town. hopefully tourism will return to this amazing place soon.

Qasr is an extremely pretty place with a character to boast. It has so much peace to offer in its simplicity.
Unfortunately due to the dip in tourism, the place isn't being kept as well as previously, yet we totally loved it. When we visited in the October we were the only ones to occupy the whole resort. We couldn't use the hot spring pool which is now laden with moss.
Apart from this our stay was perfect. Comfortable and warm. The 3 care takers Mustafa, Mohamad and (I forget the name) are amazing people. They took great care of us and served us yummy heart warming food.
Qasr is a prefect place to rewind and get away from the crazy city life.
