This will be my second time with Badry at the White Desert. The last time was a group of 18 during November 2019. This speaks to the level and volume of trust I have in Badry for any excursion I need to do for my groups in this part of the world. What I find most remarkable about Egypt’s Sahara el Beyda (aka the White Desert) isn’t simply how unreal and beautiful its landscapes are, but the fact many of us — let alone the majority of the Western world — had no idea such a place existed until the moment we laid eyes on it in person for the very first time. For example, it’s one thing to have seen countless photos of the Great Pyramids as a child and then see them in person; like a dream come true. It’s another, however, to see something nearly as — if not more grand in scope without having any expectation of its actual existence until you’re there in person. This time without a dream or expectation to precede something just as surreal … that’s something else. It therefore humbles me to return here and re-appreciate how even if we *think* we know or have access to lists of all of the world’s “most beautiful places,” there are entire regions like the White Desert to show us that we really don’t know how much more is out there for us to discover, dream, and explore in this lifetime. If what used to be the ocean floor is now a desert of of large white chalk rock formations created through countless years of erosion by wind and sand, we are but stardust living a present miracle of bearing witness to not only a remote physical place on Earth but also a remote place in Time.…

Badry and Hany did a great job taking care of us while we were in the white desert and a group trip. You will have the best barbecue over a fire pit that you've ever had. They give you all the things you need including tent, bed, and heavy blankets. The best part is just sitting in the peace and quiet underneath the stars. Try to remind them that when you get to Agabat area about that you do the sand boarding while you're there. Try to bring toothbrush, sanitizer, toilet paper, baby wipes and deodorant as you will not have facilities while you are there. Badry and Hany both have very calming affects and he will feel like you're being taken care of by family. As a fellow Egyptian woman I can attest that the hospitality Is superb.

This is the best trip I have done in Egypt so far. A 6 day trip to the western egyptian desert including Siwa, the Great sand sea, Wadi El Hitan, Baharyia, Black desert, White desert. Everything was prepared/included so I only had to worry about fully enjoying my trip. A perfect mix of discovering the local culture and history, visiting mindblowing places and unimaginable landscapes while still having time for relaxing and bathing in the oasis. Night camping in these deserts was an incredible experience, eating local bedouin or siwi food, and meeting nice and friendly people. Will definitively come back ^^

We booked a night at Badry's. We arrived much later than expected and Badry was there to welcome us in the night. He was exceptionally kind. He prepared food for us, good Egyptian specialities. We did not miss anything. The same for the breakfast, everything was gathered for a good time, including the exceptional view! Ideally located: starting point for an excursion into the black and white desert. The site is atypical and full of charm, we slept in small huts, it was a very nice experience and we slept very well. The comfort is simple, the sanitary facilities are common but everything is there. The experience at Badry's is very positive and we will come back with pleasure, he is a person always with a smile and a big heart. Thank you.

We've stayed 1 night at Badry Sahara Camp. The houses looked very cool, it was also comfortable inside. In first evening we ordered dinner, everything was great! But the coolest thing is a tour to the white and black desert! I highly recommend Badry and his guys. It was top service! Dinner, breakfast, lunch - the best! The weather was so hot, so we slept just on mattrasses under the stars. Amazing! The guys were very attentive! Many thanks for our best experience in our life!

I had really great time in Bahariya oasis. Badry is a really funny guy. He answers all your questions and tells you everything about beduins life. He is also great chef. He uses the ingredients from his plantatation, beans, peppers, potatos, tomatos, cucumbers, herbs etc, so meals are ecological and tasty. The trip to the desert was led by his team, Mohamed and Ahmed. They both were very friendly and helpful and I felt like I was taken care of. I was given some fresh dates and watermelon on the way. They took me to the Black Desert, Cristal Mountains, and then to White Desert for night camping. Ahmed cooked delicious lentice soup, rice, chicken and vegetables. We were sitting around the fireplace, drinking some mint tea and looking into the sky full of stars. We also fed a wild grey fox. Then they made realy comfortable bed for me. When I woke up in the morning the breakfast was already prepared for me. I realy recomend Badrys Sahara Camp services.…

Honestly, throughout my trip to Egypt, this was probably the main thing I looked forward to the most. Especially with the opportunity to explore what nature had to offer and to star gaze. Badry and his family did nothing short of my expectations. In fact, the experience exceeded everything that I had expected. At Badry’s Safari Camp, we caught a glimpse of Bedouin life. Everything in the camp was built by himself and it was impressive to say the least. (There was actually outlets/electricity as well AC in his rooms.) The actual tour was led by his son and we could not have gotten a better tour guide. If you are around in Cairo or Egypt for that matter, I would highly recommend people to consider visiting the white desert with Badry’s Safari Camp
