From the very day I made a reservation on-line, I knew I had made a good choice! Suzy, the Posada's wonderful manager, answered all my e-mails at once with important information, and from the moment we checked in til the minute we left three days later, she continued to be both extremely helpful and super warm and cordial. Suzy has...

We spent two nights at Posada del Quinde recently. Susy was a dream to work with! Every e-mail of inquiry I exchanged with her was answered promptly and clearly in English. I felt as though we were friends before I actually met her. Susy arranged for a van pick-up at our hotel in Quito and a return to the airport...

We stayed at Posada del Quinde for three nights. After a few hours, we were dreaming about living there permanently! This hotel is more like a very spacious country mansion. All of the rooms look out onto a really beautiful private garden that is so large it is more like a park. The Posada's restaurant is known to everyone as...

We really enjoyed staying 2 nights in this beautiful hotel, centrally located and within walking distance from the markets. The rooms are clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with local art. We ate breakfast and lunch al fresco out in the lovely garden full of flowers and birds. The food is fresh, locally grown, organic and simply delicious. We highly recommend...

My wife and I spent 2 wonderful nights at La Posada del Quinde. The rooms are cozy, clean, and quiet. All of them open out onto a large beautiful, pastoral courtyard. The breakfasts, which are included in the price of the rooms, are marvelous. My wife chose the fresh fruit, and yogurt--all that healthy stuff. I always went for the...

Our mission trip group stayed at the Posada del Quinde in January. We had over 25 people in the mission group and the hotel staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel staff cooked our meals for breakfast and dinner. We have a lot of vegetarians in the group, so the hotel's menu provided...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this quaint Mountain Hotel. The location was very convenient to many of the local sights. The rooms were sparsely furnished but extremely clean with comfortable bedding....no television but the free wi-fi worked well. The Lobby was delightful with a cozy fire in the evening and very nice seating areas. The food in the restaurant...

We were starting out on a long journey through South America, and this was our first real place to "perch" and explore. Our wonderful driver, Henry, from the hotel, took us up into the mountains, and was so patient while we hiked, visited local weavers, and shopped. The room was spacious and very clean. I'd go back in a heartbeat....

This hotel is a good place to camp when exploring Otavalo and the surrounding areas. Our room was clean and spacious. We rented one of the suites, which had three double beds and one single bed along with a kitchen, bath, dining area and living room set up. The windows were large and the view of the mountains and gardens...

This hotel was the first stop on our first vacation in Ecuador. We stayed a few days and enjoyed it thoroughly. We would definitely return again. Some highlights. Maggie, the owner, and the staff are all incredibly helpful. It felt almost more like a BnB they were so attentive. The building, rooms, and grounds are all beautiful. The setting was...
