A very classy, clean and modern hotel with large rooms, very comfortable beds, small refrigerator in room. The desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. The included buffet breakfast was very good. A short walk to most attractions, restaurants, the Malecon on the river, shopping, etc. A security safe in the room.

The rooms were nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, sitting area, safe, free water, and hair dryer. The hotel made the arrangements for our private transfer from the airport which is around 20 minutes away. They took care of all of our itinerary needs that needed a personal touch. Jennifer, at the front desk was wonderful. Breakfast was...

I live in Cuenca, Ecuador and travel in and out of Guayaquil once or twice annually. I've stayed at several hotels, and for the price, the accommodations, the service, the quiet morning buffet--the Hotel Palace is my favorite hotel! This trip the desk attendant offered up front to move us from a 6th floor room to a 2nd floor room...

We stayed there for one night before our Galapagos cruise. The hotel is conveniently located in Guayaquil center. A taxi ride from the airport or the bus terminal to the hotel costs $5. It is 5 minutes walk from the Malecon 2000, a riverwalk along the Guayas river. It is also close to Las Peñas where there is a great...

We stayed 3 nights at the Palace while visiting Ecuador with 9 friends....we all stayed at the Palace because we wanted a safe, clean and relaxing hotel...this place was all of that. We stayed here for one night between the Galapagos and the Tren Crucero. The room was large and nice and dark, the AC quiet and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a really wide choice and all of this at a very good price. One minor criticism is that the electrical sockets weren't in very convenient places.
