We were a family of 7 (from 15 years old to 80 years old!) sharing 3 bedrooms on a 4 day trip with the Jamu Lodge. It takes a long time to get there : first from Quito either by bus or by plane, then a 2 hours bus journey, lunch pique-nique and then the fun starts straight away with...

Jam Lodge was a highlight of our Ecuador explorations. We saw great wildlife (many species of birds, monkeys, snakes, and insects), enjoyed sunset swims in Lago Cuyabeno, and traveled the flooded jungle in style with motorized and non-motorized canoes. The guides were good, particularly Ronald. Rooms are very comfortable. Food nothing special, but plentiful and good. Staff was flexible when...

My husband and I in our late twenties visited the lodge may2016, and had a great time. Tours are well organized, guides are very knowledgeable. Our room was very nice and had our own bathroom, it was much more than I expected for being in the middle of the jungle.

I stayed in Jamu lodge for 4 days/3 nights. The guide's knowledge was very good and we were able to see an enormous amount of snakes, monkeys, birds and other animals including dolphins, slots and caymans. The food was very good and although basic, the cabanas were clean and neat. A very good experience for nature-lovers!

I visited Jamu Lodge with my wife and we were accompanied by our daughter and her husband. We were very pleased with most of the arrangements for our travel between lodge and airport, though the arrangements for baggage transfer between bus and canoe could have been better. Some of our bags could have been mislaid had we not been vigilant...

My trip to Cuyabeno did not disappoint! I was recommended Jamu Lodge, and am so glad I stayed. Ronald is such an amazing guide, friendly, knowledgeable, and has super human eyes when it comes to spotting the animals. The lodge is also excellent, clean, and food is tasty and lots of it. Amazing excursion, would recommend to anyone the lodge...

Stayed here as a Dental Brigade from Canada to serve the Senyoa Community and had a great experience. The scenery is exceptional, and the lodge was very comfortable. The guide was fantastic, and the food was wonderful!

Let me start off by talking about a few other reviews.. 1. Yes some steps are interesting getting out of the canoe..the guides are there if you need to grab one of their hands.. 2. I did not do the night canoe rides because I'm not a fan of being on the river in the dark. At no point did...

Stayed at Jamu Lodge 3 nights in March 2016 after 1.5 hour travel on a boat. Briefly speaking, was a great environment, great staff and great experience overall. We stayed with my colleague (were part of the group of 15 people) in a separate room with own bathroom. Food was of good quality and sufficient quantity for everybody. Staff was...

I just loved it. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. You should try to get Ronald as your guide. He speaks English quite good and knows a lot about plants, birds, insects and animals. We stayed in a double room with our own bathroom. The roof of our room was almost open so we could see monkeys out of the bed....
