The Spirito Santo is our favorite hotel in Croatia. Even though it is located within the pedestrian-only area of the city, they pick you up in a small electric cart with ample space for the passengers and luggage. They also have parking space available just a few minutes away from the property. The location is excellent and so is the service. The buffet breakfast was amazing, especially considering the limited space they have to display all the options, which include freshly sliced parma ham of exceptional quality and home-made jams, cakes and delicious bread. The rooms are small, which is not surprising given that you are in the heart of the historical area, but are well equipped, with nice sheets, good-quality towels and excellent amenities. We had a problem with our shower, which after some minutes (we were taking long showers to be honest) the temperature dropped, so upon checking out, some drinks that we have ordered were erased from our bill to compensate for the water problem. Every member of the staff was friendly, spoke good English and was ready to provide ample information whenever we requested. The ambiance of the hotel is very well achieved and transported us to times past when Rovinj was at the climax of its wealth. They have a very nice wine cellar with a large list of nice wines. If we go back to Rovinj, we will definitively will return to Spirito Santo.

This place is magic! it is small and a hidden gem that is tucked away. The doors open up to the lobby and lounge area. It is the coolest design I’ve ever seen. They managed to keep the old character of the building but is super new, modern and clean. In the lounge area there is this little kitchen. The breakfast that is created in that little kitchen is amazing. There are two key players that work in this kitchen. One is Tanya who works in the morning. She is a ball of bright sunshine with the greatest spirit! She prepares these homemade breads and jams. She makes just about the best eggs Benedict you ever did have. Now, along with the fabulous coffees, lattes and cappuccinos there is always a VERY, VERY, VERY special dessert. This is hand made the night before by this sweet angelic woman named Beba. She has got to be one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Oh and she happens to be a gourmet baker!!!! She creates all of these fresh, all natural, exquisite desserts! Our #1 favorite was the CHEESE CAKE. It’s like the lightness of an angel food cake but it’s a full of flavor cheesecake. I have no idea how she does it but you must try one of her desserts! The CARROT CAKE is a very close second to the cheese cake. The cream cheese frosting is so delicious. The zucchini bread and plum cake are also deserts we were lucky enough to have that were also delightful. The rest of the staff goes over and beyond to make you feel so special. It’s cool because it’s small, you really feel at home. The rooms are just so beautiful. We had a beautiful, huge patio with these darling shutters you can open or close. I just have never seen anything designed so beautifully. The room was large and had everything and more you want. I guess what I am trying to say is this place cannot be missed while you visit. It’s such a special spot!! I’ll never ever forget it.

We were treated like royalty from our arrival yesterday, given a drink on arrival and a fruit platter. We love the old town so for us the hotel has a fantastic location. The hotel is immaculately clean and the bed is so comfortable. There is so much attention to detail and nothing is too much trouble! I am wheat intolerant and do not care for meat so thought this may be difficult to cater for but on the contrary they have been fantastic and offered me poached eggs and salmon, gluten free breads and homemade marmalades and jams which are beautiful! The cold meat and truffle cheese my husband had was very good too. So happy we chose this hotel!

We literally fell into this place off a back street. Very high architecture and interior / exterior. Good service. Good wine list, but could be much much better. Small snacks and cigars available. This is a boutique hotel with 7 suites / rooms. Very reasonable priced for this type of hotel.

I debated so long whether to stay at Grand Park or here, and I decided to follow my gut and the reviews. This hotel has 5/5 rating for a reason. It's just such a romantic hotel in the already romantic Rovinj, and the meal area is so pretty, where you can look up to the sky. I could see the sea from my room, which was glorious to wake up to. I grabbed dinner at the hotel once as well as I was a bit tired and wasn't expecting much, but it turned out way better than a lot of meals I had at restaurants outside, from the main to desert! Btw, they didn't have what I originally picked, and were able to give me a relevant alternative suggestion (that was actually cheaper, most other places would try to upsell you - so they're honest folk). Only comment is that the shower door is glass and there are some steps, which was fine for me. I loved my stay so much and if I'm back in Rovinj I will definitely return!
