We came for a lunch in this local restaurant. There were few guests there so we hoped that we found a goodlocal place to eat. It was such a disappointment! Altough the service was nice, the food choice was poor. They were missing a lot of things from the menu. Pasta was dry, mushrooms were not grilled enough and the...

Decent hotel for going around central Istria where there is so much to see, e.g. Beram or Gračišće; rooms are big enough and clean, they seem to be recently refurbished; breakfast was good and even got croissants before it started officially

OMG, the staff in this hotel it's like you are in some kind of horror/comedy movie. For real. They are very strange and silent, and they forget what you ordered, although they write down everything. We ordered 4 different menu and non of them was wright delivered :D. Later, in the city, when we talk with some locals they told...

We stopped here only for eat a pizza. We waited the waiter for a while just to order drinks and ask for the menu, and the again waiting for ordering the pizzas. The pizzas were average, not bad, but nothing special. There was a lot of locals eating in this place!

This is a fine hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms are reasonably priced, modern, and clean--albeit a bit small. Hotel is also a bit of a hike from downtown if on foot, no problem by car. Free wifi and flat screen tv with cable. Recommended!

First: We have reserved a room with three beds, and when we arrived we realized that such does not exist. The rooms are small, narrow and old. Clean but very old. The staff was never at reception so you have to wait like a monkey at the entrance. On the floor of the restaurant is very old wooden flooring which...

We stopped for food and it was well worth it. Ask for the menu, or it may take awhile, but food came quickly. We had the truffle pizza, which was amazing. Nice view of castle from outside patio. Near the zip line if you are feeling adventurous...

Hotel Lovac has been described as "a restaurant with rooms", but this must relate to before the renovation of the hotel. We had a fair size room, very clean with one of the best shower systems we have encountered. There was also effective air conditioning. The restaurant was very popular with the locals and had the feel of a greek...

Choices in Pazin were rather limited so we opted for one with a nice view. Much to our surprise the food was good. We each had pizza and salad. That combined with the beautiful view from the terrace make this a decent spot for an afternoon snack or lunch.

As of October 2013, I think this place may have been renovated, comparing our experience to the reviews here. The room was tiny, but met the newest fashions for hotel rooms, with leather cube furniture and a built in room heater it took us a half an hour to figure out how to use. It was also spotless. The bath...
