Well, today August 26th we stoped there for a lunch and we will never do that again! Food was horrible, we ate some food from daily menu and expected to be correct - but I got dry, inedible rice and pork ribs that had no meat on them and the taste was awful! Nothing better was my husband's lunch — toasted, dry, thin chicken steak and cold french fries. But the build was high... Our recommendation is to get out of this place
top service with a pleasant ambience. The food is great and makes you come back. Bad criticism is on the ambience, because the space should be arranged starting from the wood floor to the next. The price is appropriate, and the portions are abundant, and you just continue ... Recommend all the dishes from the menu.
Ordered chips, came quick but smelling like a million dead animals have been fried in the same oil before. Also ordered Vegetarian pizza and got something that resembles the look of pizza on the first glance. On the second glance one discovers the middle is like a runny mess full of out of veggies out of a can. The salad came soaked in vinegar. Inedible. Nowadays one gets a salad with a choice of toppings in normal restaurants. Not here. It looks like the menu hasn't changed from the times of Tito and Yugoslavia. Waiters are trying to make an impression of appearing busy but one soon discovers it's just a charade so they can ignore you longer. One wonders how they are able to stay in business...
The hotel is in an ideal position, overlooking the valley in which the pretty town of Pazin is situated. Our room was clean, modern and there were renovations being made to other rooms on our floor, but the activity did not disturb us. The main dining area is a little tired, but in a cosy, quaint way and the view from this area more than makes up for it. The meals are good examples of local cuisine and we were more than satisfied. The hotel is ideally situated for adventurers who wish to go caving, hiking or zip-wiring.
The waitress looked like she hates her job. First we had to wait for 15minutes untill she brought us a menu although the restaurant was almost empty. After we ordered we had to wait for about 30 minutes for our drinks (a red wine and a lemonade). They serve the worst food we had in Croatia. The pasta was undercooked and the truffels tasteless and dry. I wouldn t recommend this restauranr to my worst enemy!
