Got a half board package in family suite. It’s a quiet and picturesque little town about 15min drive from A2. People are very friendly, food is delicious (both dinner and breakfast). The room is spacious, with plenty of storage space, comfortable beds and huge balcony with nice view. The spa zone is small (do not expect a swimming pool), but very clean and nicely arranged, with soft, smoothing water and no smell of chlorine. Frankly speaking, the quality of local water is something I always pay attention to, and the one in Marija Bistrica deserves 5/5. The only minus we’ve found was quite noisy air-conditioning system (surprisingly, even after we had turned it off :). Everything else was perfect.

Dear markus20er, Thank you for being our guest and thank you for your feedback. We appreciate every comment and we try to fulfill every wish of our guests. Breakfast is served at 7 am at Blueusn Hotel Kaj 4*. Each of our guests is informed about the time of serving breakfast upon check-in at the hotel. Also, the working hours are shown in all visible places within the hotel. Next time, feel free to let us know if you are in a hurry - there is a possibility for a "breakfast to go" which will be waiting for you at any agreed time at the reception. Best regards, Your Bluesun Hotel Kaj

We had a great time at Bluesun Hotel Kaj; we actually ended up extending twice, and would have extended even more if it weren't for obligations at home. First of all, we'd like to commend the extremely kind staff, from the reception to the bar to the restaurant, who really gave it their best and were always happy, cheerful and happy to help. Special shout out to the reception who organized a very helpful transfer for us, the bar staff who washed our baby's milk bottles, and the waiters at the restaurant who were always impeccably patient with us and our requests. Secondly, the hotel has a really nice style, being modern and spacious, yet architecturally designed to blend into the traditional architecture of Hrvatsko Zagorje and surrounded by grass and flowers. Its spa is nice, and it even has a kids playground with a swing, a slide and some other neat facilities. It's located just a minute walk away from the central shrine of Marija Bistrica, yet it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Well done. Thirdly, we would be amiss to not mention the incredible food, especially their unique and delicious cakes that were the highlight of our day. Even though we stayed there during the COVID-19 pandemic times with a discount, the hotel wasn't saving on anything, and the buffet and menu choices were delightful at every meal. Finally, speaking of corona, the hotel staff strictly adhered to the safety guidelines, with disinfectant everywhere, everyone wearing masks, crowd limits and cleaning breaks in various locations, etc. - yet it was done so unobtrusively and discreetly that you as the guest could simply forget that anything out of the ordinary was going on. We will definitely come back here, maybe as early as this winter, and will make sure to stay at Bluesun hotels wherever we encounter them in Croatia (and, hopefully, one day abroad as well).

Package Spa zalogaj is realy good deal. You get massage, free time in spa zone with jacuzzi and sauna, lunch and healthy smoothie. Spa space is very clean, relaxing, staff is friendly and professional. The coffee in the hotel bar is good and the cakes too. You can spend a really nice relaxing day or afternoon there and also visit Marija Bistrica. If you have children, you can leave them in a nice playground in a hotel's backyard.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! First of all, I need to commend the personnel, especially the ones working at the reception desk and in wellness. Very informative and helpful (special thanks go to Gabi!)! Secondly, the room was great - clean and spacious, good bed and pillows, big balcony, good toiletry quality and very quiet. Finally, the wellness area and offer is just great for a hotel not targeting guests looking especially for wellness - very clean, two saunas, whirlpool, massage pool, relax area inside and outside, a nice variety of teas (Julius Meinl!) and detox drinks and smoothies. This hotel has definitely exceeded my expectations!
