Stayed two nights only at Villa Roberta. I could not fault a single thing. Daslav was very helpful and he and his wife have thought of everything. There is masses of storage space, large attractive rooms, fully equipped kitchen, sea-view (though I think this may change in the future - Bol is expanding fast!), shady parking and very good security. There are two supermarkets in walking distance and Bol centre is a short stroll away. People with mobility problems may find the uphill walk home a struggle, plus the stairs to the apartment (we were at the top), but anyone who is only fairly fit will have no problem. The only short-term issue is that the area is under development, so you will walk past the odd building site. NB - make sure to have Daslav's mobile number with you on arrival - we had trouble locating the house. We loved our stay - thanks, Daslav!…
We stayed here for 5 nights in June and can recommend these very comfortable apartments. Good air conditioning no issues with shower & free reliable wi fi. Parking on site outside. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure you have everything you need for a self catering break. We chose to eat out & the restaurants in Bol are fantastic, in particular Ranc restaurant located 5 minutes away from Villa Roberta. Owners live on the premises which is handy should you need advice etc. They are lovely people who take pride in their business & welcomed us unreservedly. Apartments are a pleasant 8 minute downhill stroll from the centre of Bol.The walk back is steep but we didn't find it a problem even in the heat. No noise at night. This is our second visit to Brac in three years. Generally Croatia is still excellent value for money, glass of wine roughly £2. Like anywhere large towns slightly more expensive but still much cheaper than euro zone. However Zlatini Rat beach is now overcrowded & sun beds & parasols are charged at more than on the mainland. Unfortunately loud music blasts out at one end of the beach which spoilt it for us. We made use of our car rental & found several other near empty undeveloped beaches nearby. Overall Croatia is a wonderful country, great weather, food scenery & people!…
We stayed for 9 days and it could not have been better! The owners are very nice and agreeable, they bring you welcoming pastry, some slices of watermelon and beer! The apartment has everything you need. It is near two supermarkets (Studenac) and the walking distance to the beach is doable. Air temperature and water temperature are so welcoming, the apartment is so nice, the owners are such a gem of people that we said we will return and you bet we will!
Excellent location with a great view of the sea from the balcony. The apartment is as new - and has everything you need. You will find the cosy city center and the seaside within walking distance. Moreover, the owners are very nice and helpful. Will definitely come back!
Villa Roberta was incredible we booked it really last minute as me and a couple of girlfriends had decided to spend two days in Bol (Brac) before heading on to Hvar to meet some more friends and spend four days partying. The apartment was beyond all expectations it appeared to be completely new with all mod cons, air conditioning in all rooms, satelite TV (not that we watched it as the weather was so beautiful) a lovely terrace with sea views and a huge kitchen with a dining table. We drank and ate breakfast on the balcony every day there was a close by supermarket so we could buy everything we needed which was a lovely way to start each day. There is not one bad thing to say about the apartment - it is an 8 minute walk to the town and a 20 minute walk to the beach, the walk back is up hill but that is by no means a negative . Daslav who owns the apartment was so helpful and lovely and drove us into town to collect our boat and organised our boat to Hvar. Excellent place to stay and would recommend it for a family as well. Bol is also lovely such a cute fishing village.…
