Booked a mountain view room and front desk allowed us to view another room once requested. Front desk allowed late check- out due to late flight. Special praise for Mia at the bakery cafe. She helped us to set up Meituan app to order takeaway drinks. We saw her the next day at breakfast restaurant and she suggested we could order the buffet via meituan at a discounted rate. Breakfast buffet selection was a little limited but was in a nice restaurant with views of yulong mountain. Kids liked the fish, swan, alpacas, goat feeding and they took part in a candy drawing activity. Unfortunately the heated pool was still too cold but it was relaxing to soak in the hot pool inside the spa shower facility . Gym was good and empty . Downsides will be the non-existent wifi and air con is blowing warm air even though temp was set low. But this is fine during early spring chilly temperatures. Room decor has nice traditional elements mixed with modern features. Spacious room with sofa. Overall a relaxing time.

The offer of a staff who drove me back to the block where my room is was beyond what I can comprehen with my 30+ years of travelling. He offered to carry me upstairs to my third floor unit after knowing I have just cycled 42km for four hours in an area where altitude is 2700m. His gesture and kindness will forever be remembered. The stay was exceptional, from the service of the staff to the rooms to the entire hotel environment. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure the kids and adults were comfortable and happy. The rooms were huge and beautiful, and the kids were so happy to just stay in the hotel for the hotel activities e.g. feeding the animals, tie dye workshop, swimming in the heated pool. Breakfast was also amazing, amenities pristine. View of the mountain was a plus. 100% recommend!!!

Coming from banyan lijiang and Jin Mao mountain hotel (their sister hotel), this hotel is a step down. As we arrived, we saw 6-7 staff at the counter, none greeted us and made us feel welcome. We only have discoverist status and they failed to recognize.
During the evening, I observed a staff requesting a guest to give him 5 stars and he will give oxygen tanks for free. I noticed he gave 3 tanks, hence I’ve guess that’s how they get some of their 5 star review.
The hotel is beautifully landscaped, our best experience is at the tea house where we spent a couple of hours drinking tea and our daughter spent time feeding the black swans and canoeing. Una hosted us, she was fantastic even though she is an intern. Patient and listening and conversing.
Upon check out, we asked for a late check out… knowing the discoverist can potentially get 2pm. We need it because our daughter still naps. We were told that we could only check out at 1pm, but weirdly told us after 2 pm we get charged.. I have never have such response from any Hyatt hotel chains before.
It has great restaurants, we had one of our best meals of the trip here. Priced well too.
Our conclusion of this hotel is although beautiful and have plenty of hardware, lacks heart ware. The staff seems very fresh and new, and many are uninitiated and looks tired. We didn’t felt as comfortable here vs, the other 2 lijiang hotel but certainly something the hotel can look to improve. :) I hope this review helps!

We stayed here for a night about 2 weeks ago. It is an absolutely awesome piece of property. The experience and environment here can be equivalent to an attraction in Lijiang by itself, similar to many attractions available in this city. The room is decked up very nicely and luxuriously with a standard of cleanliness that one would expect of a Hyatt hotel. Our room has a balcony which directly faces the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain which was a sight to behold. It was pure joy and an experience watching the snow caps of the mountain being bathed in bright orange sunshine progressively during sunrise in the morning from the comfort of the balcony. The ground around the hotel is kept in tip top condition, making the entire experience really nice. Although the hotel is not located in the city center and thus making trips to the center not so convenient, it is nevertheless not too far away. There is also a convenience store within the compound to cater to guests' grocery needs. Service level is also excellent with the staff being ever attentive and responsive. However, there is one slight complaint from me which prevented me from giving an "Excellent" rating. The room comes with a separate room for the water closet, with the shower compartment, bath tub and wash basin in another room. Unfortunately, there was a constant light stench emanating from the water closet room. We had to ensure that the door is always closed to prevent the faint but ever-present odour from disturbing our comfort. Overall, it is still a very good hotel that provided us with a very comfortable and satisfying stay.

Was having high expectations but turns out to be so so. After check in, a bellman took us in a buggy with our luggage to the Villa, he puts our two pieces by the entrance and that’s it! You bring yourself to your second floor and in the rooms, what a service! Breakfast was good and the lady speaks good English and has a service mindset, sorry for not being able to catch your name but you are probably the only person I encountered who can serve! The villa has dusts by the curtains, the ‘pool’ is empty, ok is still a bit cold during the night, but since no one show us the villa we didn’t know if it is to be like this or not. Upon check out called their bell service again but the person was just sitting in the buggy instead of ringing the villa and get our luggage, again we have to bring our luggage from the second floor to the buggy. The view? Supposed to be the JDM view, it has but with many cranes which blocks and ruins the view at all. Will we recommend and return? Thanks and No Thanks.

Beautiful property, fabulous kids activities - canoe, tie & dye, sugar art making, animal feeding. We had the Peking duck for dinner one day and it was delicious. Breakfast had great selection but can do better with English tea offering - they only had chinese tea available. Will recommend to friends.

The location of the hotel is beautiful. Exceptional service too. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms are big, spacious, and modern. Ms. Hallen the F&B manager is very helpful and ensured we had a great culinary experience during our stay. No problem whatsoever with me and my family (we’ve kids youngest at 8) during the stay at the hotel. We didn’t encounter the altitude sickness even during the trip up to the mountain. Good luck with your coming trip.
