Very impressive! Unique hotel style - China old town style; excellent hotel staff - friendly and helpful & comfortable room - big big haha! Breakfast is ok. Hotel location is also good - just in the heart of the old town.

Location superb. Right next to ancient town. Many restaurants nearby Next to intercontinental where we stayed a few days ago. Small lobby but check in efficient. Staff brought us our luggages very quickly. We booked a suite as we had 3 persons. Good size. Clean and better maintained when compared with intercontinental nearby Disappointing thing was we needed to go back to the same restaurant in intercontinental for breakfast. Obviously the restaurant at Indigo was closed and the sister hotels brought all guests together in the same restaurant. I did not enjoy breakfast much at intercontinental as most food esp coffee not hot enough. Can’t recall that was highlighted when we did the booking. A cool air ventilation fan was put into room as requested which was nice. Another disappointing thing was they allowed guests to smoke at the small lobby so i had to walk pass the smoke to get to my breakfast. Not an enjoyable experience esp first thing in the morning. I know smoking is more flexible here in China but I expected better arrangement from international chain.

The location is superior. It is very quiet around the South Gate of Lijiang ancient city. There are not too many businesses. It is also very convenient to go to the ancient city. The garden environment is the best. The room is full of green plants outside the window on the second floor. It is in a good mood and has a very rich breakfast

Stayed at Hotel Indigo Lijiang for three nights during the Qing Ming festival. The staff went out of their way to be super friendly and helpful. I’d especially like to recognize the front desk staff and Sunny Xiao who made it a point to come say hello at breakfast and to provide very helpful tips of where to go and what to do. All the staff I came across at Indigo and the sister hotel, Intercontinental, were superb. They helped arrange for cars to take me to Blue Moon Valley and provided recommendations on how to maximize my itinerary. All the recommendations worked out very well. I stayed in a suite and found it to be well appointed and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the flexibility of being able to experience a boutique hotel (Indigo) and also the more fulsome amenities (Intercontinental).

Gave a four star due to the room got foul smell in the toilet and hot water wasn’t consistent when having shower. Cordless phone wasn’t charging so needs to be replaced the battery. Breakfast in the morning at 06:30 was supposed to be ready but it wasn’t as bread and some other items were not there. Otherwise Julia was very welcoming upon check in and the overall team were very hospitable and good service. A welcome note from Housekeeping and the set up was nice. Thank you for the service team.

The hotel is a series of full and half villas on a compact and lovely property at the edge of old town. Nearly all amenities are on the adjoining Intercon (pool, lounge, gym, spa) We also has breakfast over there once we discovered we could. The staff at the Indigo was as helpful as possible and our villa was quite nice, but I might consider staying at the Intercon next time if the price is comparable (and if there is room with a Mountain View available). Enjoy!

Indigo Lijiang is the first hotel I stayed in Lijiang. I booked this due to the good review and ranking on TripAdvisor(4th in Lijiang). First of all, rooms and restroom is huge, everything looks quite new but classic, only cons is the view(no view at all from my room). Upon check in, they give you the welcome drink ticket that you can enjoy at the intercontinental lobby bar next door. And the view at there is unbreakable. One thing I would like to appreciate is their front office team especially Grace, she helps us to call hospital about the COVID-19 testing process and details even I already checked out the room, she get back to me via email as I doesn’t have mainland phone number. In additional, I stay at the intercontinental on the next day and found that indigo is better mainly because of the room facilities and amenities, few plugs at intercontinental is not working and there is no air conditioner. Indigo is the best choice if you are looking for a ihg hotel!

Hotel is connected with the intercontinental next door. You can use the gym/pool there (pretty standard) and also have breakfast at either hotel. It’s about a 15-20 mins taxi ride to the train station and an extra 10 mins to the airport. It’s a smaller compound but more intimate. Nicely decorated hotel in line with the old town building style. You are right next to the entrance into the old town which is super convenient. Room was large with a slider that can separate living room and sleeping area. There is someone who can literally make anything out of towels! Had a rabbit and different type of bird on our bed each day. Thank you! Breakfast was not terribly exciting given the cost of the hotel... decidedly average. Staff was courteous and helpful throughout except up on departure... unfortunately this ruined the entire stay... a real shame.

Big thanks to the wonderful staff at the Hotel Indigo Lijiang. We would like to especially mention Rita who contacted us prior to our arrival and continued to do so during our 3-day trip and stay in Lijiang. Rita took care of our airport transportations and Jade Dragon Impression Show. She also took us to the Hotel Intercontinental next door as guests from the Hotel Indigo are able to use facilities at the Hotel Intercontinental. Rita checked with us throughout our stay to make sure that our needs were met. Thank you very much, Rita! I also want to point out that our room was immaculate. We had plenty of space. It was the first time that we received alcohol wipes and hand sanitizers as part of the toiletries. We also want to mention Thomas who was the hotel staff who drove us from the hotel to the airport on our departure. He was so cheerful and service oriented. We were so impressed with his positive attitude and pride of Lijiang. The Front Desk staff were all very friendly and helpful! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at an incredibly beautiful city! The kindness of your staff, especially Rita and Thomas, will be remembered.
