The Blossom Hill is perfectly situated in the middle of the Ancient Town of Lijiang. The Inn is centered around two courtyards, which invites guest to meet and engage with other guests in the traditional Naxi-fashion. The building is old, but clean and well maintained with character.

The Inn has limited services, except breakfast (but no coffee!).

Across my four days the staff was friendly, but none of them spoke any English; so practice your Mandarin or go for google-translate!

If you’re after a quaint inn experience - and don’t need services - this is a great choice.

Great location next to the market. Good night sleep. Good selection of movies to watch on the hotel television.
Old style hotel in the culture of old China.
I would stay here again.
Because of the language barrier, they didn't inform me of the WI-Fi password, but I'm on vacation and it was a nice break from the internet.

As you may already know, there are several Blossom Hill resorts in Li Jiang old town. The one that we picked to stay was Springland, located half way up the hill with main access from a turn-off from the (in)famous bar street.

We did go pass some of the other Blossom Hill resorts and concluded that this one was probably the best. Springland is close to the happening Four Square street with a lot of dining and shopping options. Also it's very close to the main entrance to old town, meaning you can get out of the old town (believe me, you will) for other dining options, modern shopping and tours. Springland also has another secret weapon. As it's located half way up the hill, you get exclusive access to their open balcony at 3rd floor. You'll love it. The balcony is also where you have your breakfast. There's even some sofa facing the mountains and a telescope to use to take a closer look at the beautiful mountain range of Li Jiang.

When it comes to services, I give the good people at Blossom Hill 10/10. They picked us up at the airport on-time (even after a mixed-up the day before caused by our cancelled flight from HK. They waited for us for a long time). They carried our heavy luggage through the uneven stone paths to hotel. Throughout our stay, the room was tidied promptly and the staff was always smiling and welcoming. They arranged our day trips and transportation to Shangri-la upon our request with professionalism and accommodating manner.

Traveller may be concerned about its close proximity to the bar street. Based on our experience, it's not a big worry. The bar scene starts at around 8pm and they must close at 11:30pm. During this period, you may notice some noise, but nothing loud enough to stop you from enjoying your conversations or watching TV. And before you know it, the noise stops abruptly at 11:30pm.

There's a lot good points to say about this hotel, such as free tea and snack sessions, free use of washing machine, free computer use and internet access, really good breakfast and the very well-kept, beautiful environment. The price could be on the high side but it's worth it. I'm happy to recommend this hotel to any of my friends travelling to Li Jiang.

we spent two nights at blossom hill in the old town of lijiang. the hotel was very authentic and the staff very friendly, even if their english skills were not that great they always helped us.
the rooms are very authentic and nice, but you need to bring some warm clothes as it gets a bit cold during the night. the hotel is inside the old town of lijiang and close to the sightseeing.
wifi is available everywhere in the hotel. we would definitely recommend to stay in blossom hill.

Nice Hotel in the heart of Old Lijiang. Worth paying $79 for. Nice comforable rooms, good bathroom. Breakfast is in a sister hotel couple of blocks down the street. It was not enough space for all the guests for breakfast and selection was limited but adequate. It starts at 8:30 AM. Take a strall along old town in the morning when most of the tourists are still sleeping. There is no car trafic in the old town so they will pick up your luggage from outside of the town.

Very special and lovely hotel with good location. Staffs were really helpful and friendly to take my luggage and someone can speak english to give me a guide for my travelling.
they went out of their way to make me feel at home and even arranged a free ride to the airport. Breakfasts were mainly Chinese, but the setting was nice. I like the room where we stayed, it's clean and unique with special decoration,of course, bed were comfortable. And there is a quiet and nice courtyard.

Blossom Hill (unfortunatly when you get to Lijiang, no one will know it under that name) is a very nice inn in the middle of the old city; I was initially surprised that the bedroom have a big window open on the inner court -so during the day, everyone can see into your room-, but actually the design of the room is very carefully done. They say for example the bedding is same as Shangrilla hotel, the bathroom was quite nice, and the personnel very friendly.
However, I think the price I got online was quite pricey, during my trip to Yunnan all my other hotels were about a third of that when I got a rate directly at reception.
They do have a bigger Boutique hotel in the same street, I visited it it looked quite nice maybe even nicer.

We stayed here one night. The location is very good, in the heart of Lijiang, room was spacious and there was a very nice yard. The English level of the staff was not very high. They offered to arrange transport to the airport for us, but wanted to charge almost double of what one would pay to a taxi.

The Blossom Hill Inn is a boutique hotel constructed in the traditional Naxi style with high ceilings and timber beams. Our room was comfortable and reasonably spacious with double timber doors leading to a small balcony. There was a view from the room across the roof tops to the mountains and there was an enchanting internal courtyard.. Breakfast was served in other premises 100 or so metres away and offered limited options. The staff were friendly but spoke little or no English. It is however a pleasant and atmospheric hotel and well worth a stay.
