Stayed here for 4 nights in Sept. The hotel was clean enough and is half an hour walk to the park; A lot of restaurants and shops around. We felt there was a lot of room for improvement: 1) Smoking smoking smoking -- hallways, elevators, everywhere even though Non-smoking signs are there. Staff doesn't discourage. 2) Walls paper-thin, we heard...

The reception looked very smart and I was waiting for a disappointment with the room but it was spacious and had pretty much all you would want, except proper soap. We had one evening meal there and it was fine. Breakfast was ok , the staff were attentive, WiFi worked and it even had lots of surface space in the...

We had a driver so getting to the park entrance was not an issue although it is definitely walkable. I would rate this hotel around a 3-3.5 star by Australian standard but we weren't there for the hotel rather to visit the National Park. Definitely not what I'd call an International Hotel. We did have difficulty communicating with staff as...

We booked this hotel thinking it would be close to the park entrance, it was actually 3 km away which took 25-30 minutes to walk, taxi took 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. And there was always traffic. Starting at 6 am in the morning, the honking from the cars started which could be very clearly heard from our room (3rd...

This place rated four star and the rooms are big and clean and sleep quality good. Breakfast is substantial with wide spread and it better to go there after 8am as its full if you go earlier and can't get a table. The staff don't speak English at all so that could be a handicap but they are all very...

The Qian He International Hotel is well located less than 2 kilometer from the entrance to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area nature park. Our double room were big, plenty of space for an extra bed for our son. Room and bathroom were clean, but a bit worn out. The staff, all Chinese speaking, were friendly and tried their very best to...

Have been travelling around Western Sichuan over the last 10 days, and by comparison to other 4 star local hotels I would rate it as an average tourist hotel aimed at dealing with large volumes of Chinese tourists and tour groups. We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Jiu Zhai Gou park, previously stayed in the main Huanlong hotel...

Stayed here in Oct 2014. Supposed to be a good base for visiting the UNESCO Jiu Zhai Gou but underestimated the walk from hotel to the site's main entrance which is about 2km. Trying to catch a cab in the morning is a nightmare. The narrow 1 lane road is full of tour buses so walking is the best option....

Rooms are reasonably big in size, but basic. Wifi is provided, but slow. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is very "Chinese" but a good variety of Chinese food. Overall OK for a Chinese rated 4 Star hotel, but would think it's more like a 3 star internationally rated. Would recommend this hotel.

After reading many reviews, I elected to stay at this hotel, and was rather pleased. I think it is very nice, particularly for the area, and provides comfort and convenience at about half the cost of the neighboring Sheraton. The hotel is rated at 4 stars, and I would say that to be the case, particularly since the quality can...
