Nice hotel, but older. Couldn't take advantage of the free breakfast because lines were so long and tables weren't available. Overall a decent experience for the price, but probably won't go back. The Ruth's Chris on the property is very nice.

Hi Betsy N- Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. I am sorry we did not provide you with a "GREAT" stay as is our goal due to the line at our complimentary, cooked to order breakfast. We strive to provide efficient, friendly service and I apologize this did not happen during your visit....

Design and rooms are a bit dated however the room is large with a seating office area and a separate bedroom. I was on the 6th floor and it was quiet enough for me, even though the front of the room is open to the center Atrium. Staff was friendly and this is a good option for Families with an...

Hotel staff is polite and helpful. Rooms are very good size, although the décor is somewhat dated. The onsite restaurant has great food with an excellent wine selection, and the amenities onsite are very nice. Great location near Homewood and Mountain Brook with tons of shopping, the Birmingham Zoo, and a nice minor league baseball park close by.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Samford University with our daughter. It is a convenient location for that purpose. Relative to our experience at other Embassy Suites, this property is well below average. The decor is very tired and in poor repair (our bathroom sink was cracked, the carpet was dingy, etc). The hotel also appears to be...

The room was not clean. The conference table and counter tops were not wiped down. I would not stay here again. Hotel needs to be renovated. The breakfast was very good and they had many items to choose from.

Where do I start. I was in town for a show choir competition. My reservations was cancelled without notifying me it was an issue with my card. They called me after they cancelled reservations. I had a cheaper rate which I lost. Reservation staff hung up on me twice. They did not try to accommodate me in any way. Once...

Considering my prior experience with Embassy Suites, I was extremely disappointed to see the rundown appearance of the facility. The front desk staff were gracious, however, the rooms were in poor repair, maintenance appeared to not be a priority, and housekeeping was lax (to say the least). Not only will I not consider this facility in the future, I seriously...

The atrium is beautiful with trees and plants along with koi ponds throughout. It reminded me of a small Opryland hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a full breakfast with a made -to-order omelette bar. The evening reception included any drink of your choosing with no limit.

My room was filthy and smelled bad. I took several pictures of the issues and contacted the staff with no resolution. Room smelled of smoke and mold. Curtains were stained with large stains. Sheets were dirty.

Stayed here due to medical appointments at both Kirklin Clinic and UAB Highlands. Each employee from our check-in to departure was very helpful, pleasant, and respectful. Most comfortable bed for a hotel stay in quite a while. Breakfast buffet had many varying choices--eggs and omelette cooked to order, fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, biscuits, bacon, sausage, toast, biscuits, coffee, juices, milk,...
