I thought I had to settle for an expensive option, because it turned out this town is very, very crowded around this time of the year. This being the fourth hostel, I stayed in a 6 bed dorm alone, it was a clean room, a comfy bed, proper showers and a reasonable price.

Overall the location was great and the hostel was nice. Staff spoke enough english to get by, but still limited. -My first stay here was great. The room was very clean and the bathrooms were very nice as well, with western toilets. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, with no roommates the first night and only 1 the second....

We stayed in a room for three people without a booking and a got a nice deal for 180 RMB/room. The room was very nice, very clean and there was a beautiful view to the creek and mountains. There was a nice balcony with chairs too. We felt the view was better than the Li river view from some of...

I actually thought this was quite good - reasonable price and friendly staff. However, it's not quiet and one of the best thing about Yangshuo is probably the feel of serenity so I moved to another hotel in a sides street to the main bar and shopping area (West Street). I stayed here for about two and a half days (three nights), and highly recommend against staying here. Just for starters, it is a very dirty hostel. There are empty beer bottles lined up around the walls, the bathroom was filthy, next to the single computer there is a cup with an inch of mold growing in it. The room...
