We stayed here one night and the rooms were good. Clean well maintained everything worked. Free Wifi, Tea / Coffee making in room (Bring your own coffee though) Hotel let itself down some what with the chaos which was breakfast. Too many people trying to get at too little food and some basic failings like not having a cable to... More

Main reason to stay here is for the location. Breakfast was simple Chinese and the wifi was very dodgy. Room was decent and clean. Very poor English skills among staff, but all in all an acceptable place to stay for a night.

Don’t expect too much from this hotel considering the limited options in Jiayuguan and the distance from any major city. Fortunately, our group only stayed one night. The room was clean, but out-dated - it could have used a renovation! The beds were hard - typical of China. Our stay included the breakfast which was pretty spartan - not many... More

We booked a standard room via Ctrip. The shower in the bathroom has no door. So, the shower water flowed to the bathroom floor. Miss Bai at the front desk was very helpful in arranging taxi driver for tours.

This hotel was clean and had a hot shower. It lacked any service, the wifi was terrible, the television reception was fuzzy and broke up every few minutes, the housekeeping staff behaved like fish wives yelling down the corridors and into walkie talkies and breakfast was a joke. Our trip ended with them attempting to charge us again for our... More

This hotel accepts foreigners and is clean and comfortable. It is a typical Chinese hotel, grand foyer and white grand pano, but the staff have limited english. The rooms are quite comfortable and the bathroom is clean and has a potable water dispenser. Breakfast is not very good, but there are always eggs!

We found the hotel was comfortable and clean, although the rooms were on the small side. The beds were the same hard beds that you mostly expect in China. The breakfast was typically Chinese. We arrived at the restaurant around 8 am and found many of the dishes were nearly empty. We had to request the staff to refill some... More

The hotel provides clean and comfortable accommodation rooms with free wifi in the lobby. Typically for hotels along the Silk Road, the beds are very firm. However the traffic noise is barely perceptible. Breakfasts had a limited selection of western foods, although the omelettes and bacon were excellent.

Your options in Jiayuguan are limited so even though this hotel is sub par, there are not many other options. Very few of the staff speak english, the rooms are sparse, the beds literally as hard as rock and the bathrooms are a bit grubby and smell funny. The breakfast is entirely chinese and not great. The wall and the... More

Mining is the primary purpose of Jiayuguan today so I believe this hotel was geared towards business travelers. As a tourist, you're probably here to see the Jiayuguan fortress and the western terminus of the Great Wall. If so, this hotel is more than ample accomodation, very clean and is flowing with marble and decorative artwork. Rate is a little... More
