The place is terrible, very old rooms, old furniture and beds/sheets, dirtiness and not working facilities, AC and heater not working, extremely poor service and the price is totally unacceptable, really not recommendable...

This will not be a charming stay. It is not comfortable and the food isn’t superb. What you will get is an awesome view and a place to rest your weary body after a tolerable hike to some peaks at Huangshan. It is not ideal at all but it isn’t expensive and the so-so food and accommodations are an oasis...

We were part of a tour, we had a meal in this hotel. The food was good and fast service. This place can handle large group. The view is really what takes you there. You are surrounded by magical scenes.

After a tiring two-hour hike up Huangshan during a wet and cold early spring afternoon, the sight of the hotel emerging through the mist was indeed welcoming. It looks like a relic from a bygone communist era and that is not far from the truth as it was Deng Xiao Ping himself (after his visit) who ordered its construction at...

Stayed in the bunk beds room of 6 occupants in this hotel for 2D1N with my friends as part of the hiking trip on Huangshan. My experience can be summarized as below: What's impressive: - Hotel located at a decent place at the top of the beautiful Huangshan mountain. (Just a short hike to few scenic spots such as Dawn...

As you can see from reviews, there are not many great options for hotels on Huangshan. Most are dumpy and overpriced. Beihai is kind of a mixed bag and people have a range of experiences. But, the view from the rooms and lobby overlooking the valley are superb!

We had booked a so-called connected room, two rooms with sliding door divider, each room with two separate single beds, so sleeping 4 in total. As all hotels on top of the mountain are expensive, this was a reasonably priced option. Booked through C-trip. Beds were good, clean sheets. Long enough for me (I'm 1.89 meter long). Floor was stained,...

The big plus of this hotel is its location right in the Yellow Mountains. But that's about it. Contrary to the many 'certificates of excellence' hanging in the lobby, the hotel offers small rooms with very thin walls and dated furniture (and bathrooms). Everything seems in need of a serious renovation. The ever-present mould does not make this place more...

Although the location of the hotel is good the hotel itself isn't. It was so cold in the lobby and everywhere in the hotel you didn't not have a chance so spend time outside your own room in the evening. This is especially annoying when you're there with a female who has to sleep in a female dorm and there...

There would be less points, if the hotel were in the city, but at the mountains there are not so many options to chose. Shower and bed were ok, breakfast restaurant really crowded (you should be ready to queue with hundred chinese), and it is just to fill your stomac, no culinar delight.
