Hi, We are a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids - 12 and 10 year old). Ancar Atacama was simply great. I was not sure of the place, but on arriving turned out to be great. It is located at a walkable distance to the main street in San Pedro De Atacama. This is very useful compared to... More

The accommodations at Ancar were very nice and private. But what made it such a memorable experience is Andrea. She is all warmth and heart with the best suggestions. It may be a little hard to communicate if you don't speak Spanish. We stayed on a 2 bedroom Adobe. There are beautiful brand new cabins which looked very nice. All... More

Four of us stayed here for four nights. We had a two-bedroom cabin, which was well furnished. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools needed. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There was hot water in the shower whenever we needed it. Andrea, who runs the place, was extraordinarily attentive - providing detailed instructions and... More

Andrea is a hostess rarely found these days. always at your beckon call to answer queries, offer recommendations and even join you for a quiet one (if not too busy). could not recommend her highly enough. the place itself is very clean, tidy and comfortable and has a great pool and pool area for kids of all ages (our 'kids'... These cozy little cabins were the perfect size getaway for my husband, two sons, and I as we explored the Atacama Desert. Andrea runs an incredibly tight ship, serving as a competent tour guide and ensuring that the grounds and cabins were immaculate at all times. The pool, hammocks, playground, and climbing trees had my children asking if we could... More

Even it takes 15 mins from hotel to downtown, I still strongly recommend it to everyone. Nice garden, swimming pool and BBQ place. There are nice kitchen with anything you need, free drinking water, hot shower, TV and 24 hours hotel manager. Besides, their maids wash dishes and clean rooms everyday in an amazing way! I really love this hotel... More

we spent four days in the San pedro de Atacama. We rented the bungalow. We had a wonderful time. It was so clean and Andrea made the stay extra special with her hospitality. She was genuinely affectionate and made our stay very comfortable. This place is a 8 minute walk to the center. Very enjoyable times

I hate to be unoriginal, but Doña Andrea is the sweetest, most generous, most accommodating, kindest, and simply most adorable hotel manager I have ever come across! The cabins and grounds of the compound are lovingly and impeccably maintained and provide a peaceful, relaxing respite from the area's incredible excursions and the hustle & bustle of tiny San Pedro. The... More

This place was worth every penny. The cabaña was incredibly clean, the beds were nice, the pool was great and the staff here was incredible. We stayed here for four days on vacation with friends. We had a three-bedroom cabana, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The spaces are small, but good value for money.
