The hostal itself is OK for a few nights, they have nice patio and you can use a shared kitchen (however not very inviting). What made our stay rather unpleasant was Pablo, the manager who was neither helpful nor friendly. On top of that we had no water in our room for several hours for 2 days in a row....

Decent breakfast, hot water in the morning and in the evening, nice yard with hammocks. The only issue we had with this place is that wifi was only available in the yard, about twenty meters away from our room. No connection in your room at all. But other than that - good place, no complaints.

I have to say the rooms are very pricey for the standard you get. The lady at reception was absolutely rude and wasn't helpful at all, lazy seems the most fitting word. You had to tell her that she has to do things you would expect anyone to do anyway. after check out we had a late bus so we...

Sadly a little expensive, and virtually no service. My room seemed to have an ant situation. The wifi signal didn't reach my room. Positives were it was nice and quiet, looked secure and had good showers.

We knew that accommodation was bad and expensive in San Pedro. So we were happy to find a twin beds room for 16000 chilean pesos (about 16£). However when we hit the bed we realised the poor condition of the mattresses. Springs were about to get out of the mattresses and you had to hold on in order not to...

Boy you don't get much for you money in some places in South America do you! I got a single room with private bathroom for almost £25 and it was basic and prison cell like. The staff here couldn't give a toss....the two guys "working" there were too busy smoking a joint in the morning when I came out looking...

Average rooms (stayed in private double with shared bathroom) Okay bathrooms only we rarely got hot water (even within the "hot water hours") Really nice outdoor common areas (no good indoor common area, especially if you're allergic to cats) Ill-equipped kitchen.. the fridge wasn't even plugged in! Breakfast was not included for our type of room (shared bathroom) Couldn't get...

Wifi really good - also has 2 computers to use if you don't have anything to use. Clean - and right next to the main drag in San Pedro. Hammocks and nice resting area in courtyard - good value for money - we paid 8,000 CLP per person for a room with twin beds.

We came to this hostel after spending one night at La Florida which is more on the south, both are really in the center of Atacama. Because La Florida charges for storaging luggage after check-out and somehow wifi didn't work on laptop, it worked on phone though. However, this hostel I read review after checked-in, found review was not very...

A good price for a double room. We used the kitchen a lot, which was mas o menos well equipped. It is very close to the two main streets, a bit further from the bus terminal though. The water in the shower wasn't always hot, but the wifi worked excellently.
