The owner of the guesthouse was incredibly friendly and accommodating Rooms are large and clean, en suite was basic but clean. Roof terrace is lovely addition, great place for breakfast. Great location, opposite e-bike rental shop, and next to a lovely restaurant.

Firstly, we essentially got two nights at this place for the price of one as we arrived in the very early morning from a nightbus and they kindly gave us a room straight away. The room itself was a bit of an endurance test - no aircon, very basic plumbing in the bathroom, and the electrics were temperamental at the best of times. The mattress however felt like memory foam which was a surprising bonus. Man at reception was very helpful - sorted us out with a boat trip to mandalay for the next day and also helped us hire bikes for our day in Bagan. However, he also completely ripped us off for a taxi to the jetty the next morning which charged 2000 kyat per person (there were four of us) for a 5 minute journey. We began to get the feeling that there was a certain amount of scamming going on. The location of the hotel was ideal with many temples a short bike ride away. The guesthouse also had an excellent restaurant a couple of doors down with delicious and reasonably priced food. Overall it worked well for us but we were relieved to get to our modern, air-conditioned hostel in Mandalay!

I stayed here 2 night with 25usd/night. there is cheaper price, is 18usd/night. The hotel is old, no wifi in room and hot water, Include breakfast but I didn't eat, so I dont know. however, The owner is nice, helpful and kind, he is often smile and easy going with customers. because we find a cheap price, so can not complain much.. I dont know how about another bus go to Mandalay, but the Staff in this hotel sale the ticket go to Mandalay is so bad..small and not comfortable with 6 hours go to Mandalay, I was so tired. it stoped at the food store is very dirty, I could not eat. The place for rent motorbike opposit this hotel is also not good, expensive more other and the owner is unhappy with customers.

Really nice location. They have $20 rooms and $25 rooms. The rooms are definately over priced but this is common in Myanmar. However the room was fair clean with a large bathroom. The tap water was brown but the shower is hot. The breakfast is included with tea and coffee, eggs, rice and noodles. Toast is also available. There is no wifi in the rooms. Overall ok for a couple of nights but super overpriced

We were supposed to sleep two nights in this guesthouse, but we only stayed for one hour. First of all, the shower didn't work, after a quick repair we had a "shower" and went to bed. Within a hour we discovered bedbugs, so didn't slept at all. The whole bed was full of them! When we called someone from the guesthouse, he offered a new blanket (which of course doesn't help at all). He promised we would get our money back the next day because we didn't want to sleep there anymore. The next day we were told we only good get A part of the money back because there were costs for the washing of towels and sheets. Ridiculous when you consider that we were covered in bites from the bedbugs!
