we stayed 2 nights in this guest house, the manager is nice but not really helpful.. the rooms are not so good. bicycles expensive. very noisy from the boats in the lake better to take rooms inside the village in much less price and better team , and most of the places give free bicycles

Gypsy in is the place to stay in Nyaung Shwe/inle lake! Great location close to where you rent boats, nice clean rooms with share bathroom. The breakfast is included and outstanding! Pancake, fruit, eggs, toast, noodle soup, coffee, tea, orange juice. If you want good value for you money go here.

Nyaungshwe is absolutely the place to be in Inle Lake - the town itself is brimming with Northern Indian and Nepalise food that provides quite a relief from the debatable Burmese cuisine of the South, alongside temples, puppet shows and markets. Gypsy Inn is perfectly located by the river edge but a direct walk from the centre of town. On...

As other places in Myanmar is more expensive than in Thailand, but at least on this one the staff was very helpful. They changed my reservation dates the same day I arrived and served the breakfast, which was huge and really good, 30' earlier than the schedule cause I had the bus at that time. The dorm had 2 bunk...

Gypsy was a special place for us on our travels as we had arrived early morning with no bookings. We arrived at gypsy after noticing how cheap it was, and it was hard for them to tell us whether or not they had any rooms available. Being so early in the morning we understood, assuming that it was because they...

Big rooms, clean facilities, BIG free breakfast and a working WIFI! Nice balconies for watching the "boats chaos" from. The hotel is close to the "main" street with many eating and drinking options. The staff is friendly, but doesn't really speak english (i don't care anyway) except the two people working behind the front desk. If you're going to book...

I stayed at a cheaper hotel from my driver's recommendation, but it was at the other end of the city. After that experience, moving to Gypsy Inn was an easy decision. The owner is cordial and cheery, offers an orange juice when you check in. The place is right next to the pier, so you can wake up early, be...

The rooms here are pretty clean, comfy beds but had some problems with my toilet though, but they fixed it every time. Nice location just by the water. But one of the staff members the one sitting at the reception desk was not nice. I felt like I was in the way and that he didn't want to help me....

There are two good things in Gypsy Inn. First it is very close to riverside to rent the boat and go to Inle Lake. Second is a nice big wooden Room where the breakfest is served. The owner of Gypsy Inn is a difficult person. If someone (like me) wants to change the Room and pay him more, it looks...

Inle is a little more expensive than the rest of Myanmar due to a massive amount of tourists passing through. Gypsy inn has a great location right at the riverside and helpfull staff. Comission is charged for bookings of tours, boat trips on the Lake and bustickets. Go buy your trips and tickets yourself, there are plenty of Companys and...
