Stayed here 2 nights after we came from the 3D2N trekking from Kalaw. Booked it before we left Kalaw and got an email from the hotel on the day we left that they don't accept luggage if you are trekking before you arrival date. Which is kind of an shitshow, because heaps of people come to Inle after a trekking...

We stayed two nights but almost 3 full days. When we arrived very early at half past five, they already welcomed us and guided us right away to our room without extra charges. On the day we left, we got a late check out for only 1$ per hour, that was great. The place is very quiet and idyllic and...

Lovely simple bungalows in a quiet tropical garden setting. We enjoyed sitting out on our private verandah as well as lounging by the pool. Good breakfast (and views) in the roof top dining room. There are plenty of restaurants to be found a five minute walk away. This hotel is great value especially when compared to the French "boutique hotel'...

.secluded and quiet, a bit far from the center but you can hire a bike nearby. rooms are not very large and it can be cramped for two. the swimming pool is not too small and breakfast is correct. but they charge you 5% more if you pay with credit card without warning you about that on the website (Booking,...

Simply the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. We were there in February which meant that the mornings and evenings are cold but the days are hot. It's important to know this in advance so that with the proper clothes you can really enjoy being at Inle in the winter. Although there is no heat in the rooms...

We stayed 4 nights in this charming hotel in one of the standard rooms but they also have bungalows. If you want a bungalow you have to book directly by email as booking.com only propose the standard rooms. The rooms and the bungalows are located in a very nice garden. We had a small terrace and it was perfect to...

We stayed here for three nights in January. We chose it for the good reviews and the swimming pool, but didn't use it as it was a bit chilly and also we visited the hot spa! The room was a chalet in the garden with a lovely sitting out area. There was no fridge or tea making facilities in the...

I was in a standard room which was pretty open to the elements - wire mesh instead of glass panes in some of the windows so it was really cold at night. As rooms are in the garden there are a lot of mosquitos so there are quite a few in the room. The owner did offer to move me...

We were so glad we didn't opt for one of the more expensive, but attractive, places on the lake itself. It was so nice to be part of the Burmese community in Nyaung Shwe itself and it is still easy to get to the lake. I would thoroughly recommend staying in this town and this guest house. It was clean,...

Just spent 4 nights in this hotel and really recommend it. It's located in a quiet street, by one of the many canals, but not the main one (better as the main canal is busy and noisy). The rooms are very comfortable and value for money: hot water shower, safe, comfortable bed. The staff is well managed, and extremely helpful....
