Possibly the best hotel experience of my life!

So I was planning a business trip to Sao Paolo, and I was asking my advisor which hotel I should stay, he unequivocally said The Unique. HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This was the best hotel experience I have ever had, hands down! The amazing experience started with the concierges. Both of them, especially Sergio and I emailed back and forth in regards to transportation and reservations for dinners. Spectacular choices by the way. When I arrived at GRU, the driver was waiting for me right after customs and transferred me, painlessly, to the hotel. I arrived late, 130am or so, and already had me checked in. So easy... When I got into my room, there was a very nice note and chocolate waiting for me from Sergio. Also, there was a wonderful lime macaroon waiting. The room was very nice. A huge round window with a autocontrolled wall to black it out. Wonderful clean room, nice products on the mini bar, and an ultra-comfy bed. The restaurant and bar on the roof of The Unique, Skye, is awesome. Fantastic atmosphere, good service. At night, it is a great spot. The property and restaurant are definitely on point, but what made my experience at The Unique, the service. Sergio, Samuel, the door guys/valets, and the rest of the staff were so warm and friendly. It felt like coming to a home away from home from start to finish. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. I will be only staying at The Unique in Sao Paolo from now on…

Great service. Beautiful, unusual architecture. Top floor restaurant, bar, outdoor pool have an amazing view. Concierge, Sergio, Bezerra de Menezes, is wonderfully helpful. Gym is pretty well equipped and was empty most of the time. Don't let the dark elevators and corridors throw you off. They are designed to be that way - just ask the front desk why if you are curious. …

5* customer service - great for vegans

We stayed here for two nights and we were very impressed from the moment we arrived. The customer service was amazing and they sincerely listened to our thoughts and requirements. When arriving in our room they had baked us a vegan cake for our special occasion- it tasted amazing! The hotel itself was fantastic with a great rooftop pool and a quality gym. The rooftop bar had lots of vegan options on the menu too. The breakfast had some vegan options and the team were happy for us to share ideas of what they could provide for breakfast for vegans. This hotel is excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you would like a luxury stay with 5 star customer service.…

The hotel is really amazing! I really love all the amenities...the staff is so helpfull...the restaurant is shper beautiful! You can walk to ibirapuera..diego and andre are so nice! Fabiola too she is so sweet

Business dinner

Great environment, but poor friendly approach. About food, there is a clear evidence about a tentative to generate something terrific but sometimes to be focus on simplicity is better. One time is enough, no more.

As stated by fellow users above, a possibility is to take the GUARUCOOP taxi service from the airport. They are the oficial airport taxis and they have stands right outside the arrivals área in all 3 terminals at the international airport. You can pre-pay the ride at the stand. Can you purchase a day pass for the spa and pools of you are not a hotel guest?

There are vouchers you can get for the SPA. I believe the outdoor pool is only for guests but call the hotel to check, as suggested. But, you can go for a drink in the bar or to have lunch or dinner at the restaurant and you may enjoy the views and pool space, not being able to use the pool.

How close is public transportation to the convention center and what type of transportation is it? Bus? Subway? Also are there excellent restaurants in the area?

Located in the heart of the most upscaled spot of the city – Jardins neighborhood -, we´re 5 minutes walking distance from Ibirapuera Park and pretty close to Paulista and Brigadeiro Faria avenues, financial and business districts respectively. If you´re next to these points, we strongly recommend you to come by taxi. Alternatively, you can also use bus (we have a bus stop right in front of the hotel) or subway + bus - the closest station is "Metro Brigadeiro", 1.5 miles far from Hotel Unique. Regarding the restaurants, we have a huge variety of good spots around, but if you´re coming to an event at Unique, the best option is Skye, our rooftop Restaurant and Bar. Commanded by chef Emmanuel Bassoleil, Skye receives an average of 500-600 guests daily , and has granted some of the most important national cuisine awards. Besides that, by going there, you can always count on one of the most singular views of São Paulo, facing not only Paulista´s avenue skyline, but Ibirapuera Park´s too. Hoping to see you soon
