My bed had bed bugs, the sheets were torn and stained, the dorm rooms reeked, I saw a rat running around by the bathrooms, the neighborhood is not great. But it's close to the metro. Stay in Vila Madalena instead.

The hostel is located in Paraiso, about 15-20 minutes walked from Avenida Paulista and 5-10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and it is possible to walk to Liberdade and other parts of town in under an hour. The hostel itself is rather homey with very friendly staff who...

Great welcome with English speaking staff. Made real effort to give map, point out local interests and advise on tours. Stayed in dorms. Great big lockers under bed to store luggage. Dorm beds already made on arrival. No breakfast included in price. Wifi was very good. Shower was warm and adequate. Feels like place needs a good spruce up/renovation, felt...

Highly recommended, gold star! The staff are really fun and friendly and the hostel has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Facilities were good, really clean with cosy beds (slept like a baby!) The location is great, safe area and short walk to the metro with food shops and good places for breakfast nearby. It really made our stay in São Paulo.

We stayed here for 4 nights in our tour if South America. The staff here are extremely helpful and pleasant and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bedrooms are clean and so are all the facilities. Good coffee and tasty fruit every morning was also a nice addition.
