This hostel has a great atmosphere if you're looking to meet other travellers. Has a very unique, cool style, similar to somewhere in Berlin. Interesting graffiti art work around the hostel walls. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm room which was fine. The lockers were good, and the beds comfy. However for me at 6 foot 1 I was...

I flew in Sao Paulo and got a taxi to this hostel. It is located in a residential area, so by no means a party hostel. It is safe and secure. The walls are covered in beautiful artwork and there is a signing board filled with messages from past travellers. I stayed in a 8 bed-dorm, it is large, has...

This hostel has its own style. You can tag the wall when you leave which is cool! Staff is very friendly. It's close to many bars in the neighbourhood, so if the hostel is quiet after 10pm just walk around the block or down the street and you find lots of places to drink and eat! Breakfast included is very...

Very good hostel, all the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our every need was satisfied. The bar was nice and had an excellent ambience. Food was decent a tad on the small side. My only complaint would be that the bathrooms could have been cleaner. The quality of clientele attracted...

This hostel made my time in Sáo Paulo great! Manuel, the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, even had breakfast with us! The rooms were modern with power points at every bed and the lockers were huge! The bathrooms were fine, and there was even a hair dryer for the guests! Great wi-fi connectivity. Overall, I had no complaints!!

My partner and I stayed at Vila Madalena for three nights. It was a great hostel to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast along with the free use of iPads and computers. The dorm rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and the entire hostel had a great vibe to it. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, we especially enjoyed...

This hostel seems to attract all kinds of individuals (-judging by who was staying there for the few days I was). It is very relaxed, and had a good breakfast, bar -and the rooms were good and very well air-conditioned. The staff, or Miguel an Alan in particular, were very helpful and had a great manner. The art on the...

Loved my stay at Vila Madalena. Tulio was incredibly helpful and didn't let us venture off without a list of places to check out and a personally modified map. With only 2 days in Sao Paulo, he was a life saver and we had a great time. Hostel was excellent; very funky, comfy, and just a pleasure to stay at.

Stayed in the eight bed dorm for three nights and really enjoyed my time here. As a city I thought São Paulo didn't have much to offer and after nearly getting robbed on the metro wen I arrived I didn't venture out from the hostel too much!! Area where the hostel is located is a nicer area of São Paulo,...

Neighbourhood Profile
Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
