this was booked for me. I would not have booked it myself. I was in a smoker's room and even spraying the room lavishly with perfume didn't help. Also having a room that with a door connecting to the next didn't make for a good night's rest. For the price I was also expecting better wifi service, better bedding and...

Dear Guest, We thank you for your comments about your stay at Hotel Matiz Barão Geraldo. We believe that is only possible to improve our services with the comments coming from you. Unfortunatelly on the 24th of march the hotel was fully booked and it was not possible to change you to a better room because they were all occupied....

Confortable room with neat bathroom with efficient staff. Best option if you need to work at UNICAMP (walking distance) Really clean, well maintained. Excellent laundry service, really fast! Good buffet breakfast (though no decaf was available). WIFI connection was unstable in my room. The area is not too lively nor scenic, though a large supermarket and some fast food and...

Very clean, fairly generic, reasonably well-maintained hotel with walking distance of the university (about 20 minutes). A supermarket and a reasonable selection of restaurants are within 10 minutes' walk. Internet is free and works fairly well most of the time (although not nearly as well as at the university). Hot water is good and beds are comfortable. There is a...

A short stay in Campinas - hotel is good, clean and works well for a short business stay. The breakfast is quite dull actually but you will find some cereals and yogurt before setting off. There is no lift so if you have big / heavy bags and need to get them to the 1st floor it will mean some...

Close to the University in a lively area. Clean, efficient, free wifi, helpful staff who have English if needed. A little expensive for what it is but there are not so many hotels this close to the UNICAMP. Taxi rank opposite the hotel so easy to find transport. Good bars and eateries close to the hotel.

Extremely charming service elevated this hotel above average and it's a very handy base if visiting the campus at UNICAMP, one of Brazil's leading universities - the walk up to the modernist buildings of the college is through a pleasant suburban area. That said, the distance from the bus station in Campinas is over 10 kilometres even if there is...

Nice Bars and Restaurants with outside seating in walking distance to the left (5-10 min walk) in a safe Environment. Hvae been there for Business trips approx...

Stayed here for 4 nights due to a meeting at Embrapa-UniCamp. It is located walking distance to several good restaurants, a large grocery store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and comfortable with all the basic amenities, free internet. My room was on the first floor facing the street and it was a bit...

A good basic transit hotel. Has all the basics, but nothing flashy. Was there for 2 nights for business. Was comfortable, but chose to eat out nearby as the restaurant did not have a large selection. Rooms were clean, staff helpful and budget price made it useful for my needs.

trong Point: Comfortable hotel that offers good dinner. Clean and good internet link. It is on the same street of the small town bars agitated, beer houses and small mall. You can go walking. Near-UNICAMP University. If transit is good at Bandeirantes Highway you arrive at the refinery REPLAN in 30 min. Weakness: I found it very expensive for the...

“Odd-numbered rooms have some road noise. Even-numbered rooms are much quieter, but may get occasional noise from the pool area. There is no elevator, so the ground-floor rooms may be preferable if you have a lot of luggage.”
