Only spent one night at this location day after Carnival but was very clean and basic. The breakfast was adequate and the staff was friendly and courteous plenty of eating establishments within safe walking distance of front door. Very busy side street plenty of taxi and bus service runs parallel to Copacabana Beach. Never felt unsafe in this place it...

We had 3 nights at this hotel. It was more basic than I Was expecting when I booked , it was adequate but no frills at all! I wouldn't stay again as the hotel was just too basic. However the price is good and they have triple and quad rooms. Therer Is also parking for a small charge.

This is lovely hotel two blocks back from the beach but on a busy main road. The views are limited- park at the front road to the side. Rooms ending in 9 all look over a central void and the kitchens -definitely not recommended its like living in a cell! Front view rooms are spacious though can be noisy at...

The hotel has all the basic essentials and is close to the supermarket. However, the staff are not friendly and sell tours at very inflated prices. Would not recommend staying here.

Rio's scenenery surpassed my expectations. The copacabana beach and others are very special. Rio is super interesting place. I was disappointed with the quality of maintance and upkeep of most places including hotels. This hotel was renovated some few years ago and that is why I chose it. It was ok from that standpoint, but man was it expensive. The...

This is a great hotel in the centre of Rio's copacabana beach. It is only 2 blocks back from the beach with cafes, restuarnats, banks, ATMS & supermarkets all located very close. We found the staff here to be wonderful & helpful. We loved the rooftop area with its small but refreshing pool & great views of Christ! This hotel...

Facing a grassy tree-lined square, often filled with gatherings of men (which one lady in our group of 17 thought intimidating. Within a few hundred metres there are restaurants, a corner shop selling water/soft drinks, a small supermarket, ATM machines and a Macdonalds burger bar. It is set back about 2/3 blocks from Copocabana Beach . A ground floor reception...

Staff was very nice. Rooms are modern good sized and clean. Location is good. You're 2 blocks from the beach, and shopping is all around you. You're not far from all the tourist attractions. My wife loved it. We left for the beach one day, and left the room safe open. In it was a few thousand of dollars, and...

Upon arriving in Rio I knew this holiday was going to be a little chaotic. Got the airport shuttle to Copacabana and really couldn't figure out where to call out my stop so we walked a little to this spot. Check-in was fine, the staff were pleasant however they did try to sell us on a few activities at inflated...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
