Having a room with a good view of Christ the Redeemer and a short walk from Copacabana I should not really complain. Worst part of the hotel was breakfast with the scrambled huevos cold every morning, coffee of indifferent quality, and service likewise. Our room and the public areas were cleaned to a high standard and I can have complaints...

Cleanliness is impeccable and the staff´s attention is fautless. Rooms are comfortable, with quite modern facilities and, what is more, they are more spacious them the surroundings´average. An excellent breakfast with a wide range of tropical fruits, juices, cakes and breads impressed us too. As if it wasn´t enough, you are right in the middle of the "nervous center" of...

This hotel is nothing to write home about. The rooms are ugly and boring, but it was a perfectly adequate hotel in a city where that sometimes is hard to come by. The location is great.

I have no complaints about the hotel. Breakfast was good, location is very central and room was very comfy. The gym is a waste of space and the machines very outdated. But overall it was a very good experience

My family and stayed only two nights and we don't have any complaints. Ok, my son said that the internet speed is not that good and you have to pay for it. Apart from this issue, it is a nice hotel with a decent breakfast. A good location in a safe area. I strongly recommend visiting Bar Cevada (restaurant) just...

Stayed here during my trip, recommended by SouthAmerica.travel. I would consider this a 3 star hotel. The hotel is located in a really convenient location, walk a couple blocks and you are on Copacabana beach, which is beautiful. The neighborhood was close to restaurants and a supermarket. The continental breakfast was included, there was hot food such as scrambled eggs...

We stayed here as part of a tour arranged by LatinEscapes.com. This hotel was in a great location. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around it, and its proximity to the beach was nice. While it was not directly next to the beach (it was a couple of blocks away), we actually preferred it this way. The crowd that...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
