The location was good, half way between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The hotel is seriously dated; they still do all paperwork by hand, tracking all expenses by hand with a hand written receipt at checkout. The mattresses need to be replaced. The rooms were clean...More

Only the housekeeping staff is cool Otherwise, a depressing place. You can do better. Morning reception clerk wanted 80 Reals for airport taxi. It should only cost 40 to 45 Reals. The Chinese reception clerk is cool though.
