Casa Colonial was a beautiful resort with brilliant service. All of the staff spoke enough English to help with any issues which has been rare to find in Brazil! The location is second to none as you are in the hub of the historical centre of Paraty. As an Australian traveller would definitely recommend for anyone looking to truly enjoy...

Spent three nights in Casa Colonial and enjoyed every minute. Friendly staff who are always ready to help, the houses themselves are beautiful and the breakfasts were some of the best I've had; top notch all round. Cannot recommend enough for anyone travelling to Paraty!

Unfortunately we stayed only for two nights at this wonderful place. We would not mind staying longer. Everything about this place is nice. We were two families traveling together and we had the building Casa do Simon all for ourselves. The colonial style building in the middle of the historical city centre has been extremely nicely renovated. The people working...

The staff were attentive, but not too attentive. They welcomed me and took my bags, gave me a tour of the house, which is stunning, particularly the garden with a plunge pool. I was left to my own devices, and could come and go as I pleased. That being said there was always someone to help me organise trips or...

This was our second visit, and this place is just as gorgeous as it was last March. Even better in fact - there were loads of beautiful orchids out in the garden this time. The place oozes history, charm and style, and is very comfortable. The beds are wonderful, firm yet cozy, and with very high quality bed linen. Bathrooms...
