Cabins are very basic, but clean, come with a patio and a hammock - nice to relax. Shower is OK too with decent enough water pressure. Breakfast is ample and nice and they offer tea/coffee/sweets for free every afternoon. The staff is helpful and friendly. WiFi doesn't work in the cabins at all and is really only okayish in the... You're probably staying here as part of a G-Adventures tour. The place looks nice from the outside but the rooms are quite dated. There is no WiFi outside of the breakfast hut. If more than two people are using the WiFi, it is going down. Breakfast is acceptable for a free breakfast. What isn't consumed is used for tea in... More

Confortable log cabins offer good value for money. Location is fine, just 3 minutes walk from Abraão's center.Staff is friendly. Pool area very simple and sauna was experiencing some troubles and not working properly.

I'm a seasoned traveler having been to 70 countries and this is one of the worst places I've every stayed in. It was part of a G-Adventures tour from Iguassu Falls. Right from the start we had rude and unfriendly service from the female manager, whom I dubbed The Dragon Lady. She never smiled during our two-day stay and her... More

This hotel is a complex of cute little log cabins Surrounding the communal areas. The rooms were a bit dark due to the wood but comfortable and clean, there was a hammock on each balcony which is a nice touch. Breakfast was included and there was a very good selection of food, including freshly baked bread - so fresh it... More

I loved the look of the place, simple huts in a beautiful location. The hammocks were great the pool area simple but nice, breakfast good, free biscuits cake and coffee in the late afternoon all brilliant. Our main complaints were the mouldy smell in the back room of the hut and stained sheets which were stained on day one and... More

It is difficult to review this place as the accommodation has its good and bad points but most of all is affected by the culture of the island and how things are done. Firstly the good points - staff are very friendly particularly the girl at reception ( they must have fired the dragon lady mentioned by previous reviewers), the... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Mata Nativa. I stayed here as part of the G Adventures tour I was on and my room-mate and I were given one of the little chalet's. The chalet's are basic but cute and have a hammock on the porch, which was great to chill out on. The location of the hotel is pretty... More

Spent 2 nights here as part of a G Adventures trip. I was very happy with this hotel. I think if you get a chalet it's better than one of the other rooms. We had a little chalet and it was lovely. Our room was very clean, a decent size and quite cute. Staff were all very nice to us.... More

We stayed here during a trip with Gadventures and weren't super impressed. We were hoping for one of the chalets but were given a smaller standard room. Our room was clean and there was a well-stocked minibar in a little fridge in the room with decent prices. We did hear that not all the rooms had the mini fridge in... More
