This was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the national park - just a few minutes to walk. The hotel itself has beautiful grounds and a nice pool. The rooms - we had superior rooms - are nicely done in white furniture. The bathroom is quite simple but...

We have stayed in this hotel for just 1 night. The room we've had was good. The buffet diner was also good, the pool was good also..... but then we wanted to confirm our flight by the internet, then they charged us for 15 min. 3,50 Real. And to print out for ex. a Boarding Pass, that was not possible...

We had an excellent visit to San Martin in Oct 2010. Stayed 3 nights which was perfect to see falls in both Brazil and Argentina. We stayed in a recently renovated Superior Class room which was very nice- hard wood floors, new comfortable queen bed, good air conditioning, in room safe, modern tastefully done bathroom, good view of pool, free...

If you stay here, DO NOT book a standard room, I shutter to think of what the economy rooms would have been like. We booked a standard, and it was so awful, we got upgraded to a superior room, but it would have been worth the extra money if I'd had to do it. What the others say about gloomy,...

This is billed as a 'luxury resort' (with prices to match). Whilst the rooms and common areas are of good quality, and the location perfect (10 minutes walk to the Falls entrance) the quality of service from the bar & reataurant waiters, and the standard of the food, was poor. The bar prices are way too expensive. Nice pool area...

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the falls. The location for the Brazilian side of the falls, just 10 minutes away, is great. However once you've returned to the hotel for the evening there is nothing else around. The food selection is limited and expensive with a choice of a buffet (expensive) or A La Carte (very expensive)....

You can't get any closer to the park on the Brazil side of the falls. You could stay at Cataratas which is inside the park, but it also costs at least 5 times the rate of San Martin. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the front door to the ticket booth. The foyer and reception areas of the...

Good hotel to stay at to visit the Falls. There's a nature garden, a big pool and some gym equipment (though I didnt see anyone using it!). Food was OK, room was nice and of a good standard generally.

4 - 5 stars - NO WAY! Only the grand entrance and front desk deserve this rating. Beyond that expect a 2 star establishment. Fortunately, we only had one night stay in this outdated and rather drab hotel. We were shown to a small, pokey liitle room that looked out onto a messy courtyard (NOT a garden!) As there were...

My wife & i stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Waterfalls. Two of the front desk girls are very unhelpful , unfriendly & have poor english skills.
