Generally, we enjoyed our week in this hotel. Our room itself was pretty basic. We were on the ground floor and the room badly needed updating. The positives more than made up for this deficiency, though. The building was as interesting to explore as the grounds were to wander. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The service was friendly...

Normally I have stayed at the Sheraton in the National Park in Argentina. Since all my friends had US passports and no US$160 visas we were turned back at the border and ended up at this hotel by accident. It is ideally located to the airport, the water falls in both Brazil and Argentina, and downtown Foz. The hotel has...

We had a terrible time in this hotel! The foyer is actuallly quite attractive and promising. But once beyond the foyer it all changes. The hotel lives in a time warp: it was built in the early seventies and still have all the same equipment. The airconditioner and TV are all from that era! Many facilities are closed (eg the...

Huge rooms, good food, family friendly, helpful staff. The furnishings were from a different era, which was very unique. The hotel property was very intrigung, with a monkey island ( no kidding), an ostrich, few ducks and macaws,,, i stayed fir two nights, but should have stayed probably 3 nights. The hotel had a beautiful ambience.. We just fell in...

I left my iphone charging in my room while I went to have breakfast and when I returned, my iphone was gone. There was no security cameras on that aisle so the person that got into my room knew he/ she wouldn' get caught. They told me I had to go to the plice station to place the complaint, it...

My husband and I spent a night at this hotel unexpectedly after our TAM flight was cancelled and we were unable to make it to Rio de Janeiro. In sum, to be fair, the hotel was clean, the food was tasty and the staff was extremely friendly and kind. The room was very basic and smoking was permitted in the...

it is a hotel that has average dining facility and average quality of breakfast. My reservation is a standard room and we ended up in a hostel like room and rather dated. We fought to get an upgrade to a receptionist that only speaks Portuguese, and eventually, after two hours and with the gracious help of the manager, we finally...

All the stuff advertised on their website for kids is only available if they have a convention going on when you are there. The staff was friendly and the breakfast and dinner buffets were both very good.

The rooms are old and I had the honor of freezing my butt off with a cold cold shower. Inquired at reception about the lack of hot water and receptionist did not seem concerned. "They're probably just cleaning the boiler..." he says. Run away!

The room is extremely old-fashioned (e.g. the window frame was decayed, air-condition was noisy and it kept emitting big grey dusts). Big ants were also scrawring every day in the room during stay. Some front-desk staff were so lazy that they did not come out of the backward office even when they knew customers were waiting and some of them...
