We stayed for a week in this hotel. And we had fun. The personal we're all polite and very helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms need a bit upgrade. But we enjoyed our stay. Thank you again Gabriel!!

The hotel is well located in downtown and only 20 minutes walk from the famous `ver-o-peso´ popular market. It offers conveniences for those that are travelling for business, like free access to internet and an academy. The hotel has a restaurant, if you are too tired to go out. But remember that Belem is famous for the good gastronomy, and...

The rain probably didn't help, but the Hotel Regente is a 1960s property, still living its heyday; and rather like Miss Haversham in Dickens’ fine novel, distinctly out of step with the requirements of contemporary guests. It starts at reception with the surprise that one has showed up for their reserved room, and a pile of paperwork ensues; once armed...

The hotel is not the newest or the cheapest, it's just what to accept from a 3 star hotel. Most of the employees don't speak or understand english. The houskeeping dep. called twice, first in brazilian then in poor english, asking if they could clean the room. Reason: The do not disturb sign was hanging on the door. In the...

Placed in the heart of Belem, close to the Basilica de Nazare in one hand and to the Teatro da Paz on the other side, it's well located and well furnished after a recent renovation. Suite rooms are better than the Superior ones, with two rooms (one with a couch) and two flat TVs, one or two king size beds...

This medium-sized hotel in Belem, the busy colonial-origin city at the mouth of the Amazon in Brazil, is friendly, attractive, convenient, and comfortable. The best part is the staff. They are so nice and efficient. The desk and business center staff are always helpful for computer problems and phone-fax communications. People at the hotel really go out of their way...

My stay was for four nights on business. Hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are reasonably sized, but the one I had was to the main street and 'used' - the same applies to the bathroom. I would describe the hotel as average. The aircon was one of those old style machines, a bit noisy, but I still slept ok....

After seeing this hotel hasn't been reviewed in 4 years I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I stayed 8 days in this hotel so quite a while to get the full effect. Ok, it's standard enough but it's fine, the staff are quite helpful, the air con is great in the lobby, coffee in the little bar was...

I stayed here February 2005 and cannot speak too highly of the staff, they were excptionally helpful to a lone, disabled woman traveller. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the eyes as well as the body. I had a view of the Amazon from my very comfortable room.
