Yes . Now I am living here for a while. Service of Golden Tulip is superb. They have now a new restaurant that is great too. Food very tasty and view is awesome by the lake. Also the pool is very good. It is in Brasil and we can also rent boats near by.
I went there for 2 nights, and i was really surprised with the old room, damaged furniture, bad service.for example when you shower the water fills the bathroom.the furniture is very old and damaged(air conditioner installation and the minibar door was broken.we asked for 2 thing from the room service,i takes them 2 hours to show at your room.we ordered pizza the moment we arrived, they said it will take 35mins it took 1 hour and 35 mins.it was the worst pizza i had in my life,it wasn’t cooked.i usually visit brasilia,it was my first and for sure my last time,i booked in this hotel just because i was invited to an event that was taking place there.will never goo again there and will not recommend it to anyone.another negative point,is that there is no slippers in the room.i talked to the manager about that,he was kind he tried to help us but there wasnt much help.its classified as 5 stars maybe the day it was inaugurated, but now im sure its maximum 3.…
I am very disappointed at the need to make this complaint, since I’ve always regarded the Louvre Group and the Golden Tulip brands as a reference in excellent service. Last night, being a guest at the Golden Tulip Brasilia Alvorada, I had a terrible experience. At around 12 am new guests, I suppose, arrived at the neighboring rooms on the 3rd floor and started to scream, bang doors, walk rapidly on the hallways and that lasted until after 2 am. I had an early meeting this morning and this caused me great distress. Even after I phoned reception twice and asked for security to solve the issue, nothing was done. I even banged on my room’s door several times, but the noise did not stop. I felt as if I was in a cheap hostel in some kind of red light district. Next time, I will certainly think twice about booking again at a Golden Tulip location.…
This is the best place to stay in town. The resort provides free transportation to main location in Brasília. It's a complete resort. There are two restaurants with great breakfast. Great sauna, swimming pool and service.
Most of the hotel is really well-maintained, the staff is always very understanding and patient. I found the room maid named Kelly to be very helpful with keeping the rooms clean on a daily basis. One of the things the hotel is really missing on is a full playground for kids of all ages... the kids' place has old toys and mostly for really young children only. The peacocks are beautiful!
The place is a little bit old: bedroom and bathroom. Restaurant ok, good breakfast, but the service is very slow. The place is surrounded by a nice lagoon and the gardens, swimming pool look nice. The fitness room is kind of old too
This hotel is in a safe location, by the Paranoa lake, but far from the city center. However, the hotel offers a transfer to the main places; it is just a matter of scheduling it. The room was big for a standard hotel room. They had a nice gym and two pools; one smaller that was heated and the other one with a nice view of the lake. The breakfast had good choices and the staff was helpful and polite.
The view of the hotel is great, Nice building, good and clean rooms. What surprised me was the food. I had lunch there and there was few options and with poor service. I asked for juice and then, gave up. It was lasting too much. Breakfast was reasonable but, again, almost no service.
Unfortunately, the Trip Advisor App won’t let me access to my screenshots to show how terrible the internet is at this hotel based on an internet speed test;however, I did show the screenshot to the front desk at the hotel. The download speed was comparable to dial up: 0.77 Mbps download and 0.40 upload. Took several minutes to load one Google page. This is unacceptable for anyone, regardless of wether one is traveling to this place on business or leisure. Impossible to watch Netflix in hotel room 3007. They need more routers throughout the hotel. Hotel location is also quite bad. No restaurants or bars nearby the hotel within reasonable walking distance and food at the hotel is over priced. The Mexican tacos I had at the bar were disgusting. Taco shells were from a box and each taco had a huge scoop of sour cream, very off putting. When I asked for fresh spicy salsa using google translator the bartender looked at me like I had a third eye. He even went to get the manager as he didn’t understand: the manager nodded his head as though he understood. Even so, they didn’t bring fresh hot sauce/salsa picada fresca, so I asked once more and the server brought a bottle of Tabasco. Take this item off you menu: it’s horrible. Hope my company changes hotels soon. …
Hotel was nice enough. Room was big but a bit tired and dated. The reception staff were awful. Dreadfully slow on check in - 3 staff, I was the 4th customer, and the whole thing took 20-25 minutes. They failed to email me my invoice. And when I called the hotel to request I got passed among staff for 10 minutes before they hung up. Calling the main reservation number didn't help. Sending email to both main reservations and hotel didn't help either. From my experience this chain appears to feel it doesn't need to bother.
