The Franklin Street Bed and Breakfast Inn is a very cool place to stay and to getaway from the hustle and bustle. I enjoyed the beautiful room which I stayed in, the breakfast was unique and the view from the room. While I stayed there the places were in walking distance such as the Lawrence University which is a liberal...

Elegant, clean and top notch! Close to home but far away. Judy and her husband are so personable, friendly and make you feel special. We stayed two nights and they were magical and will always be a special memory. We will be back soon! I will share my experience with all my friends as highly recommended.

My son & I stayed at the Franklin St Inn on Thanksgiving night to attend the Brett Favre celebration at the Packers - Bears game. My wife & I had stayed last year at Franklin St Inn for a Packers game as well so I expected their welcoming hospitality again. They went above & beyond by transporting us to the...

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Inn from Friday to Sunday. We parked the car on Friday and didn't get back in it until Sunday when we were leaving, everything was in walking distance. Ron and Judy were very welcoming and a wealth of information, their recommendations were spot on. We are history buffs and Judy was...

I was lucky to find this Inn. Rooms are spacious and clean. My privacy was respected. Within walking distance of many attractions/restaurants in Appleton. I would highly recommend this Inn for a get away.

We had the pleasure of seeing our Godson perform at Lawrence University recently. We enjoyed a quick visit to charming Appleton, WI, to do so. Our hosts at the Franklin St. Inn were most gracious and very attentive to our comfort. They were also extremely on top of another group who were celebrating their reunion into the early morning hours....

I usually stay in one of the hotels in Appleton but wanted to try something different, esp. a place that has great breakfast - and I was not disappointed. The room was lovely, the bed comfy and the breakfast was wonderful - fresh, delicious, and wholesome - fruit, egg dish, homemade steaming bran muffins, freshly ground coffee, o-j. Great start...

Four other couples joined us for a murder mystery we purchased along with rooms. We provided food and beverages , and for $30 per person Judy was to provide dishes and coordinating of the mystery. Despite our group's spending $1200 for one night, we were not treated as valued customers. When we arrived we were immediately greeted with her telling...

We do strive to make all of our guests feel welcomed and have a good experience with us. It does present a challenge when guests ignore common courtesies to other guests, publicly intoxicate themselves, and show lack of respect for policies or property. Responding to our attempts to communicate policies ahead of their stay could have prevented any misunderstandings. We...

This beautiful Victorian home was filled with warmth created through the beautiful decorations and antique furniture that was charming and comfortable. Our suite, the Franklin Grand Suite, has a jacuzzi and super comfortable bed. The food was gourmet with delicious fresh fruit, homemade breads, puddings and amazing breakfast egg creations. Our innkeeper was like our personal concierge, gracious and accommodating...
