Situated on the edge of the City, this was a great find. Arrived early and they allowed us to leave our cases and invited us all to a free breakfast, on departure they even gave us a room until 3pm! Very amenable and friendly staff, lovely rooms, OK a little small but everything you need, flat screen TV, safe, fridge,... More

I really enjoyed staying here. It's a great location, just 100 yards or so to the Pelorinho, with great views from the swimming pool. It's very spacious, with a very relaxed atmosphere, and friendly helpful staff. The breakfasts are excellent, and there is a nice bar where you can purchase food and drinks throughout the day. You can organise an... More

We liked the breakfast, but it should be served on time. Hotel officially declares, that breakfast starts at 7 AM. But if you came at 7 AM, there is nothing to eat at all. All the food is being cooked at this time and it appears on the tables before 8 AM. So maybe it should be better to start... More

I am always sorry to write a bad review, but in this case I take this as a duty of kindness for the next people that might think of visit Salvador. The city is not easy, but the people that run this pousada makes it way more difficult, they try to scare you about everything in order to sell you... More

- very good location: a few minutes walk from pelourinho, close to all sights - (at least) upper floor rooms have lovely view over the old city rooftops and steeples - a bit worn, but still very comfortable room and bed - decent breakfast - staff a bit sloppy from time to time: e.g. they were not looking after run-out... This hotel is situated in the historical part of Salvador. It is in the middle of a Ladeira de Saude, a steep street, which I used as my gym. The hotel staff is very pleasant and nice. On Dec 25 all the guests were invited to gala dinner for free. We all enjoyed a party and delicious food. Breakfast is... More

although this place is on a steep hill, seniors may find it a little to steep, its worth the climb, 5 min walk down hill and your bang in the center of things, the rooms are spotless, breakfast plentiful and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Can be a little noisy early evening but the noise is music and adds... More

Great pool, comfy beds, a/c, good breakfast buffets and nice dinners, too! The wifi was not quite right in my room, but free internet in front office area helped. This place was just the right distance from Pelourinho to walk to and from (but be warned, VERY steep hills just outside the hotel, and really EVERYWHERE in the center of... More

This is a nice hotel in a good location. Close to the central historical centre without being right in the middle of it. Just get advice on where is safe to walk. Very nice staff, good breakfast, clean rooms. Nice swimming pool although I didn't get the time to take advantage of it. Great view as well.
