Dear guest. As you may have noticed, our hotel is located in the very heart of the historical district, in a pedestrian area where is concentrated most of the night life with drum bands, concerts bars and restaurants. For that reason, Pelourinho area is usually much safer than other Salvador districts with an important police presence and camera system in the Streets, day and night. Nevertheless, don’t forget that Pelourinho still an authentic popular district and that, as a tourist, you may be solicited by some street sellers or beggars. A basic precautionary attitude (no valuables, no jewels, no showing-off, no walking in empty or dark areas) will avoid any trouble.. like everywhere else in the world. Hope we managed tranquilizing you! Best regards from Salvador.
